You might not get carbon copy-type bands but some of them should have the essence of Coldplay.

I find it laughable that you could even consider coldplay's entire discography to match the class of just one RH song.

I find the opposite to be laughable.

Don't Panic, Fix You, Trouble, etc. = Coldplay greatness.

And pretty much everything on snow patrol's latest album is pure gold, but 'chasing cars' and 'you're all i have' and 'set the fire to the third bar' are absolutely unbelievable.

I appreciate coldplay and snow patrol far more than radiohead - of whom I only really like two tracks, Creep and No Surprises.

Coldplay havent produced anything even approaching the greatness of Karma Police, Fake Plastic Trees, The Bends, No Suprises, The Pyramid Song.

And I like Coldplay. Snow Patrol are ****ing appaling.

Try The Notwist's "Neon Golden". Coldplay hit the sucky jackpot with X&Y imo. "Fix You" was the one decent song on the CD. The rest of it was just rehash imo.
