Oh, another tidbit here:

I was playing half-life, when I remembered reading about this thing called the Large Hardon Colider, and they say theres a possiblilty of it making a black hole that could eat the earth? No one knows whats in a black hole. I think it's could be wormhole maybe. It's not there would be evil aliens everywhere, since Half life is just a video game, but still.

Could this somehow be used to reach the "pokemon dimension"

This has to be some large collaboration of people taking the piss. Or at least, it started as a group of people doing that, and then stupid people just caught on.

Yeah, there are people who are posting photoshopped pictures telling them they're real... that's sort of what I used to do when I was like 8, I'd make up stories and tell them to my friends saying they were real and they'd believe me and want to hear more. Of course deep down we knew we were kidding around.... I think atleast, I hope they weren't that stupid.

Wait.. so I'm the only one who believes that the Gordon Freeman is real, and that the G-Man is only training Gordon so that he can be an effective leader for us to look up to when the Combine finally come to earth?

This is quite a sad thread actually, I mean we are a forum community, we love the games that we play, we like talking to each other etc, but we don't think Gordon Freeman is real, we laugh at the fact (callng fake phone numbers under the name of Gordon/Freeman).

But we are by no means sad enough, or stupid enough to be tricked into believing something as stupid as Pokemon is real. I mean, little tiny animals magically glowing white infront of you then turning into this big motherf*cker.

If those people are simply putting on an act, fine. If they believe animals are pokemon, sort of fine. If they believe they are real, they should be sorted out mentally. Someone should go up to them and say 'POKEMON ARE NOT REAL!!' And see what their reaction is, before they start having a civilised conversation with a stranger about a new breed of pokemon.

We have a winner. The Flat Earth Society was funny too for about 5 seconds due to all the "old" members talking like it was the bloody 1800s. This however is far more entertaining.

/edit As funny as it may be I wouldn't bother wasting my time. It gets really boring when they change their story a hundred different times to meet up with any logic you throw at them. It's only funny if they stick with their "facts". Anyone looking to set-up a joke site such as these needs to keep that in mind. Explain why you think something exists or is and do not falter from that.

This is blatantly a wonderful collaborative troll project. :D

The responses are all far too perfect, the hypothesis too bizarre, and the whole thing too hilarious for it to be a coincidence that the forum is only a few days old - supposedly having been restored from an earlier database crash. It's also implausible that the news of this hilarity would only get out now.

Fake, but truly, truly wonderful.
