Post a screenshot!

Man, aside from the story the alchemy is probably my favorite part of the witcher. All the potions require a fair amount of materials to make, but their effects make a huge difference, and they last for a long time. Anyone know if this is the same in the second game?

I only used potions like an incredibly small number of times in TWEE, playing on the standard difficulty setting.

Really? Maybe i just suck at the game, but i found potions like thunderbolt so useful when fighting bosses or really large groups of enemies

It's a matter of philosophy. Some are good at melee without boosters, other use them liberally. Being a fan of the Witcher series (books!), I love them, as the screencap shows.

In Witcher 2 the potions are different: they last minutes, but have more powerful effects. They can't be taken in combat, only in meditation (which can be done anywhere) and only in combos.

They couldn't just make them the regular sand crawlers could they noooooo they had to make them FRESH and DIFFERENT.

I would not have picked that Punisher model if I knew how ugly that scowl was. That was a lot of fun.

That's really horrifying.
I was super excited when they first talked about bringing sven co-op to HL2. It never was released though. Sad day, I had some really good times with it for HL.

Why not get Obsidian Conflict? It's basically Sven Co-op for Half-Life 2.

I heard Synergy was better? Which one won out between the two?

If you can make out what's going on here, I feel happy for you.

If you look very closely, you can make out someone being indiscriminately banned for something completely trivial.

The game itself might be mediocre, but I love the art style a great deal.

I think it should be a rule to say what game your posting.. Almost half the posts in this thread are "what game is that"..

Looks nice, but what is it?
Brown & bloom.

[edit] Because it's the screenshot thread, here's me getting something like a 100m headshot with my Rex for the first time yesterday. The sniper was on the higher rooftop behind F. About two minutes later I was kicked for "teamkilling" due to crashing the chopper, so I never got to check the actual headshot distance :(

Also, check out the FXAA injector, it makes BF3 have colour.

Game I posted is called Afterfall: InSanity. It looks much, much better on static screenshots.

That seems to be the case with a lot of games I've seen. Looking better still than in action.

OH GOD IT WASN'T ME I SWEAR

WOOPS

I "woops'd" my way through the entire game. Seeing the newspaper front page after every mission was always hilarious. "Psychopath butchers 30, news at 10"

I'm so OCD about getting a great score in that game. I really outta let loose for a change.

I have that problem with a bunch of games, including Hitman, Splinter Cell, and Deus Ex (though that might not count because it has no scores). Always go for the perfect runthroughs which require insane amounts of reloads and make me fed-up with the game at the end.
