I've been somewhat concerned about my health the past several months. I've been steadily dropping weight for no reason. I eat quite heartily and I don't really exercise much, but I feel like I may have eaten some bad meat somewhere or other. My favorite shirt which is a XL fits like a nightshirt/tunic now, and I've only had it for about a year! :O I've had trouble with insomnia lately too, but don't know if that's related in any way. I've went several days without sleep on time, and it's starting to piss me off, despite my busy day of college work. I'm not really depressed or stressed out in any way, and I've never been diagnosed with any kind of mental issue other than partial autism back when I was 4 years old. I can't seem to procure any accurate results on Web MD either. Should I go see a doctor? I haven't been to one in years other than my trade schools physical practicioner because I always though I am in relatively good health.

Have you been pissing a lot? Feeling light-headed?

Just drink some bleach. That'll get rid of any worms, and then you'll be ok.

LOL  I'm afraid that would be a bit too effective as it would get rid of me as well. Wait...HEY! I'm not a worm! :frown:

I do whiz quite often, but I don't ever really get light-headed.

All is lost if you have BRAIN WORMS :arms:

EDIT: Srsly though, can't a simple medical exam determine whether you have them or not? Go see a Doctor.

Go see a doctor. Or, a final-year medical student, good ones can diagnose common problems.

it would't kill if you checked, you never know, you might actually have worms

Probably brain worms.

Switch the frequency to 2.7.18.47 ding dong lol. That should do it.

This reminds me of Lemonking. :(

As long as you don't start seeing strange things or hear voices, you probably don't have brain worms. I really like parrots though, they're so purple and scaly. I wish I had a parrot, which I could examine psychologically, to the extent of a great English submarine. But if Francis the Great had never become doctor, where would we have been today? In the sewers. That's where. Or on your mother's vulva. I'd like to kill all the people, burn them to a crisp. Set them all on fire. DO IT. DO IT. DO IT. DO IT.

Alright.

Let's open this baby up.

"partial autism"? how does that work? you're autistic or you're not ..autism is an umbrella term to describe a series of symptons, so you either fall within these symptons or you do not ..is this "doctor" still practicing medicine? if so avoid at all costs

worms wont make you lose a drastic amount of weight ..maybe it's brain worms

did you eat a bad sandwich from a truck stop mens room lately?

Partial autism is a valid disorder.

how so? that like saying you have partial downs syndrome; you either have it or you dont ..you mean mild autism, yes that is a real condition

There are MANY different forms of autism. Some are more severe than others. He says partial, but maybe he means it's just not that severe with a bunch of symptoms.

Read up, and you will understand.

oh here we ..yes I goddam know there's many forms of autism ffs

I was objecting to the word "partial" .."mild" would have been more appropriate .."partial" leads to misdiagnosis that was very common in the kids I worked with .. "partial" label meant they got limited funding

Okay then, geez.

Stop getting so touchy. You don't have to overreact to everything I say.

/pokes raziaar several hundred times

there, is that touchy enough?

No. That's asinine and a bad idea.

Anyways, as to the original poster. You should definitely get checked. Even if you don't have tape worms which could induce the symptoms you've been experiencing, it's a good idea to get checked up if you have the means to do so. Sudden and unexplainable weight loss is something that needs to be diagnosed, because it could be serious. It could also be mild too, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

it just seems to me like his internal schedule is all out whack but an examination wouldnt hurt

Anyone ever see that movie Cashback? That guy never slept either, but he pretended he could freeze time and take off womens clothes without them knowing. It was a great movie.

Didn't Patrick Stewart write and star in that movie?

The first one was apparently a short film, while the one in 2006 was feature length film.

If you can, get checked, but you probably don't have worms. Don't even stress, take it from me. Couple years ago I stressed myself to what I like to refer to as a "mini-ulcer" over thinking I had an intestinal parasite. I stressed out so much that when I finally did go see the doctor I didn't have a worm, but I'd upped my gastric levels and had to take aciphex.

You probably don't have anything, but get checked if it'll help ease your mind.

I wish I was losing weight unexpectedly...it would be a fantastic suprise.

Have someone check your blood sugar with a meter. Weight loss and excessive urination are signs of diabetes.
God I hope not. That would suck. :P Diabetes does run in the family. My sister is borderline too. :O I hope it's just stress and that I'm overreacting like Darkside55 said. Then again, If it's nothing I'll be ridiculed and called a hypochondriac by my family and peers. :rolling: Thanks a bunch for all your input fellas. I might get it checked out one day hopefully.
