I recently moved my steam dir from my C: dirve to my G: drive, and now have [in my infinte kiwi wisdom] put it on my L: drive.

Steam updted after these shifts [I posted and did it right].

Now Steam is constantly 'working' and is bring down about 50 clicks all the time. My precious bandwidth!!!

Steam; you bastard.

Why would it be doing this??

Thanks

Actually where I come from the second yes means no. Although it is spelt the same as yes, it is pronounced differently, sorry for the confusion

The poll is just for silly-buggars, the question is serious though.

In the poll, I see this: Am I craving attention?
In the post, I see this: I broke Steam, and now it's Steam's fault.

Actually, I've never had any trouble with Steam. I leave it alone (in terms of moving it and tampering with it) and it likes me.

You can't just move your Steam folder around. You can move the GCF files, yes, but if you want to move your Steam folder you have to uninstall Steam and then re-install to the new place.

I think your question has been answered. Next time, try and phrase questions more constructively.
