stuck at a blue forcefield

Can't seem where to turn this forcefield off, just after the bit with the alien being electrocuted in the chair.

There's a black cable on the right but I can't seem to pull at it with the gravity gun.

Yes, theres an airvent, opposite the entrance into that corridor

Theres a fence across it i think

after you get out of that vent there will be anouther forcefield, use nades to to take out the plug

huh, I never found that airvent. I just tossed a nade into the office where the plug is and that did the trick I think, unless this is a different place.

You got it out of sequence I think, Dan. The screenie is from the blue forcefield where you have to go down the vent on the right, by the section of chain link fence on the floor, then past the big fan. The next forcefield is the one where you have to lob the grenade to blow the power supply plug out.
