Hey, just wondering which of the HL2 songs you guys consider to be awesome songs in their own right, not just ambience setters.

And does anyone know what the official names of the Episode 1 songs are?

That song in Episode 2 Trailer 5. I dunno the name.

The one in the end of A Red Letter Day where you have to escape from the Metrocops in the trainyard; the song also appears in the beginning of Nova Prospekt where you have just obtained the pheropod from the Vortigaunt camp. You know, where you have to turn off the thumpers and the bunkers with Combine in them... I love them all. The songs just go so well with the gameplay.

In "Follow Freeman" IIRC, when you go under this parking garage, surrounded by striders, this really kickass fast-paced music comes on. I think it's called song 17 in the console.

There's some good songs in Episode 1.
As for specific ones in HL2, the part where you are on the docks with the crane, I've always loved that track. Also the song in the street battles with the fast paced drums and stuff.

Not Route Kanal, but in Water Hazard (which takes place in the canals)

Aye, Hl2_song_16_long (LG Orbifold) or something, best song in the series (imo)

I also like Guard Down from Episode One, and the song in the Episode Two GD3.
