He was pretty funny in the joint comedy dinner before the election, too. He had better material than McCain (obviously) but he also went first so McCain ended up rehashing the jokes.

"Americans have it rough right now, losing their jobs or their homes. But something we should all remember is that this recession is five times worse on John McCain."

I think McCain's the better comedian tbh. Obama's a bit awkward when it comes to comedy.

You think? His delivery was very smooth, I know the material is written for him but it's undeniable he is a great speaker, and delivering jokes looks very comfortable in those videos. I found them entertaining...I've seen him do a couple of these faultlessly now.

He's not super awkward, but McCain I think has the better delivery.

Obama sounds like he's giving his inspiration speeches while he's telling the jokes, which is funny on some levels, but McCain looks/feels more at home telling jokes.

Of course, McCain has more Daily Show experience.
