The future of the half life series

how do you want the future half life 2 series and ect. to go? starting from ep2

in ep2, i hope the humans start building rockets after the realize the combine have outposts in space near earth. meanwhile, the resistance are slowly overthrowing the combine becos humans can teleport easily but combine cant yet.

in ep3, the humans will finally launch a space attack and will also launch a ground attack, destryoing the combine forces on earth permanently. And then the final scene will be alyx and gordon holding hands together and cheering from the top of a broken combine citadel cheering to millions of people of on the ground, as they are regarded as world heroes, while the sun is setting. (if alyx is not dead)

then after all that, perhaps half life 3 will be about the humans attacking the combine world to make sure they never attack earth again.

Crazy ideas, but I have a hard time seeing a space battle in the Half Life series. So far, there have been only a few vehicular sequences, and those are on the ground. I think spaceships would take it away from its winning gameplay formula.

Although, fighting the combine in Zero-G would be pretty crazy.

The relationship can't develope without Gordon developing it, something which is entirly up to the player.

I strongly doubt that Valve would tread on the grounds of Romance. Even though Gordon and Alyx might be developing an intimate relationship, that's something for the player to explore; whether or not it's existent.
