There are still Combine = Xen people!

Um, dude, the thread you posted in had nothing to do with this. Why bring it up in an on-topic thread entitled "Gman and the packet Alyx retrives Spoilers(?)"?

Because one single person, on page one, said that the Nihilanth was part of the Combine. No one else seems to be discussing it any further though, or agreeing with that guy.

Aaah, I missed that guy. Thanks for clearing that up. (Not that it matters, because I'm not a member there; I was just curious.)

That website it a little too bright for my eyes to function without strain.

Dude's, can you guys help me?
On HLfallout, were having an argument (or will be) over the Combine on Xen. At any rate, could anybody who's a memeber there help back me up?
I'm FreemanIC (the guy whos standing up for no Combine on Xen)

Thanks.:bounce:

I pretty sure that either on this forum, or the Black Mesa forum, someone had proof that the combine were not on Xen. I believe it was Mark Laidlaw himself who backed the claim that the combine where not on Xen. However I believe that the Nihilanth and Co where actually from another Universe, but they ended up at the borderworlds because they were escaping the Combine Empire.

The Nihilanth was actually keeping a barrier up. Once you killed him, the Combine where allowed to continue to our Universe.

But it is interesting that the Vortigaunts were thankful that you freed them. Although you didn't necessarily improve the situation for Earth, at least Humans and Vortigaunts can benefit from each others company. The Vortigaunts are not totally free yet, but I'm pretty sure they prefer to aide Humans as opposed to be Slaves under a tyranic regime.
