Top Gear returns in January...

That crash is going to make a kick-ass episode.

It says Hammond is returning to Top Gear in January, not that the show will be on January

It says they have no set time when Top-Gear will return.

"He's completely fixed after his minor crash... the only thing that's really breaking his heart is he has chipped one of his whitened teeth," he said.

Lol. I just knew Clarkson would say something like that.

"When is the next series coming up?"

"Well if all goes to plan, we'll be running that early january"

Before Hammonds accident they already had a majority of the series filmed. It was due to be screened on October the 8th. They resumed filming mid october.

According to this interview, the new series will be screened in January.

Goodness!

I'm waiting for Hammond to be on Jonathon Ross this Friday :D

\o/ Good stuff.
Hammond is the only person who could survive a 300mph crash without any serious injuries.
I hope he doesn't have a 'nam moment getting into another car though :(

Yeah I didn't know that either. So watching it :)

I hate top gear.

I hate how everyone talks about the presentors like they are personal freinds and not just being told what to say. I hate Jeremy Clarkson and his anti-environmentalist bullshit. And the audience who stand around watching looking like pilloks.

Then...why did you post in this thread?

Top Gear rules.

Anyone watching that James May wine tasting thingy that's on BBC 2? It's pretty funny. Oz Clarke gets on my nerves.

Anyone care to explain what Top Gear is?

EDIT: Found out what it is.

I really dislike wankery over cars and their models and speeds and stuff, but Top Gear really makes it fun to watch. It's not something I tune in to watch, but if it's on, it's always good. The best are the ones with the British Army (the Challenger II, the Apache and the snipers) but the one where he drove to Edinburugh (or was it Glasgow?) was really good, too.

What's it called? I only heard about the book James wrote, didn't know he was doing a show, might have to torrent it

Clarkson is a legend. I can't believe some people had a fissy hit when he described that car as being a bit gay.

Anyways, I'll be tuning in come January. :D

Thanks for your contribution to the topic.

Richard Hammond's crash will be shown in the next series of Top Gear (most likely the first episode) which is on the 28th of January.

I said from the start, as soon as hammond was out of danger, this was only ever clarkson fodder

Can't believe i missed this.... good for you, sod off to another topic then.

This week they try their hand at making petrol, deliver a verdict on the new Jaguar XKR, and talk to Star In A Reasonably Priced Car, Jamie Oliver. Plus, Richard celebrates his miraculous return to fighting fitness and shows chilling footage of his 288mph jet car accident.

Coming back the 28th of this month

Didnt they do a cow vs human poo race once? I seem to remember human poo winning lol.

Anywho, i cant wait just to SEE Top Gear back on TV again that isnt a re-run episode from 2 years ago.

Come on Hammond! LEGEND!

Guys, head's up.

The new series of Top Gear is on tonight, BBC2 at 8:00pm (that's an hour from the time I posted this). I'm recording it to DVD and i'm going to rip it to a high-res streaming WMV and host it on my private server some time tonight (after it's all recompiled etc).

Countdown till Top Gear starts has begun, can't wait! The advert doing the rounds on BBC right now looks really promising, and I saw the guys driving a super super long hummer limo in the paper 2 days ago. Should impress as usual, hope you find it soon Dalamari, I guess you'll need to wait a little bit longer. :)

Woot gonna watch it! Can't wait.

EDIT: That was awesome. Very good ep! Though Hammond was really tempting fate with all that crash stuff xD

Who did jeremy clarkson insult on this episode, it was at the stigs announcement and the whole audience applauded him.

Hahaha what a great episode, made me all warm and fuzzy.

Clarkson, Hammond and May make such a great team. I'm currently uploading the footage from hammond's crash, so you guys outside of the UK can see. God, i'm glad he's back to his old self. It's a miracle is what it is.
