it does look cool, but I don't remember it.

What exactly does it do. tl;dr.
 
Read up on this yesterday. Really cool stuff. I doubt that it'll ever be very practical given the trouble with powering it though.
 
i sure do remember this! Doesnt look like they have made any progress tho :/ (i didnt read it, only watched the movie...sorry im tierd)

Didnt bother clicking the link, is this that military suit from the guy who made the bear suit? If so, then yes, its bad add.
 
I'm reading the May 2008 popsci about the exoskeleton suit right now! :smoking:

I must say, it is an exciting endeavor indeed. I think it's interesting how the concept design reminds me strikingly of the exoskeleton suit from Crysis, but I doubt exoskeleton research will advance fast enough by 2020 or so to match the technology from that game, or to even remotely look anything like it by then imho.
 
It's not an exoskeleton suit till it can fire laser beams from its head.
 
Soon, soon, 'Bob's dream of bunnyhopping on alien planets, blowing stuff up with nukes and whatnot will be realised.
