there's no plans for a GTA game till at least 2007 so lets come up with our own game.

I'd really like to see the GTA series move outside of the US and back to it's uk roots. GTA: London in my opinion would be awesome ...you could even set it in the 60's (think austin powers) or modern day. GTA japan would also be great imho. where would you like to see the series go next?

Occupied baghdad would be awesome. :E But it would have a shitload of pressure from politics and whatnot. Hell, you might even be a terrorist in it, and they would ban it.

well no the game would have to follow the same theme as the other gta games ..you're a gangster/thief/criminal ..not a terrorist ....hijacking cars would become a dangerous part of the game

Ah, then nevermind.

There already is a GTA: London. Give it to some other city, like New York or Amsterdam.

City? Not city... which state/country.

The last one included a large fictional portion of california, hopefully the next will be even larger of a different state, with more details.

GTA:GTA It should be set in the greater Toronto area. There are many different cultures to use as gang, there is a large variety of weather conditions and no one makes games set in Canada!

You have water for boats (lake ontario and center island) and missions set in the nearby country and a mission could involve escaping by base jumping off of the CN tower.

ya but that was almost 20 years ago ...amsterdam would be cool ...not too keen on ny ..fabulous city but too congested ..unless it was New York from Escape from New York ...that would be cool

New York, or London. London setting would be like the Getaway, which isn't a bad thing.

heh Asus voted for every choice

there was a few I didnt post because of size constraint

GTA: Nagasaki Cosplay Deluxe: the Furries
GTA: DEATH RACE 2000, Sierra Leon groovy nights deadly days
GTA: WaterWorld: the UnderWater Interpretive Ballet Missions
GTA: Viva las Vegas (now with 100% more Hookers/Politicians)
GTA: Road Rage: The Thompson Files

GTA: Viva las Vegas......... yeah I would go with this one,

+

more hot cofee mods

I believe it's going to be London in next game, but I don't really care in which city it is in. :) London was before, it's true. But there are cities in gta1 which came back in the 3D games, and all cities have now come back in 3D except London and the number 69 comes around sometimes in San Andreas and they even talk about the number in a radiostation in San Andreas. Rockstar Games seems to leave marks here and there. In GTA3 Phil mention "See you in Miami" and there were also a interesting sign, and the next one in the series was Vice City who is supposed to look like Miami.

And in the radio of Vice City, the sportman talked about San Andreas. :o And those who liked to see Las Vegas, it has already been done. Las Venturas is supposed to look like Vegas, San Fierro is supposed to look like San Fransisco, and Los Santos is supposed to be Los Angeles, and Inglewood exist for real in LA, and Grove Street is supposed to be a specific street/hood in the poor neighborhoods in LA. Guess which. :)

GTA: The Sprawl.

A free-roaming crime epic of Gibson-esque proportions.

Failing that, futuristic cyberpunk Los Angeles or Mexico.

Not just a city, but a country, Even a Continent. North America or Europe. That would be fun....and very contraversial...but still fun.

Tokyo, I can just imagine all of the neon lights.

tokyo, that would be awesome going around screwing with the gangs there.

Either a new fiction state (possibly based on New York) or maybe a move into realistic realm and GTA: UK. European actors/actresses n_n.

Sweden, Kalmar.
Yeah Kalmar's a nice city, my ex live there and I visit her from time to time.
Do you live there Loke?:p

In this poll, European tour or a melange of EU cities ala San Andreas with California.

Other than that, Hong Kong gets my vote--A big big city that has a lot of cool locales and if they involve some of the surrounding areas it would be ace!!!

GTA: London was already done. And then done again in The Getaway and will be done yet again in the Getaway PS3. The next GTA won't be London. Sorry guys!

I'd like it to be in London. Relive the old GTA:London expansion pack. :D

Tokyo would be cool too!

I want a worldwide GTA. I want to be able to hop on a plane, and go from wreaking havoc on the Crips' and Bloods' stomping ground to taking out Yakuza bosses in Tokyo. Furthermore, I want to build my own crime syndicate up from the ground. Some micromanagement, but realistic. Making deals with Triads, with MS13, with Afghani warlords, with all these crime gods, over territory, alliances, drug rights, gun distribution, child labor, everything. I want to be the lord of evil on Earth. It will still be GTA, you'll still get your hands extremely dirty, but it'll have a bit of a modern mafia sim in it as well. When GTA has this, I will be happy.

*NOTE: The font is that big merely to express how enthusiastic I am about this.

GTA needs to come back home *, Edinburgh , Newcastle and Glasgow (in the 70's, natch).

Cold climate, 'ard b**tards and warm beer.

* = Rockstar is originally from oop north.

A combination of all the games with the ability to fly in-between the islands, maybe set it in the present (shortly after GTA3) and for the love of god, update the graphics
