I really hope you're not going to keep on making threads like these.

No, I'm out of ideas after this one... I just think it's interesting to see what people's responses are :)

Erm, I usually call it.. bread.

Torpedo sort of makes me think of when you're doing a really fast number 2 in the bathroom.. :/

there's about 2-3 people on here to persist with threads like this. i reckon you're all from some marketing company or something *shifty eyes*

By the way, you call it a 'sandwich'. Silly Americans and all their pseudonyms

I was actually going to put sandwich on there, but I thought it would be too broad... I mean, "sandwich" is sort of all encompassing - that would but PB&J in the same category as a uhm... one of those ^^ .. and that just wouldn't be right!

Oh, you know what I call it? Michael Jackson!

sorrysorrysorry

Heh....i was gonna say "Do you use brown bread" But then i remembered that hasnt worked for 20 years.

A Torpedo roll is just a fatter finger roll i.e. a bread bun.

i call her my sub, she is my own and i will ingest her later on.

French bread roll sandwich. With ham. And cheese.

Damn, now I'm all hungry...

Haha i remember when me and my mates went through a really stupid fad of naming bread products after weapons, somedays we had cheese landmines (normal rolls)

That was it really.....

/me runs off to die

In Canada, we call him Mr. Sub. So delicious.

I've eaten there countless times: Assorted deli with hot peppers, pickles, olives and mayo. Quiznos is often somewhat tastier, but it costs twice as much.
Subs are my second favorite food choice after Curried shrimp & rice with jalepenios.

Gwaugh, now I'm hungry.

around here, we have Sheetz', theyre gas stations and they have awesome food, they make MTOs(made-to-orders), theyre godly, but kinda expensive. I can get a 12in. sub from subway for the price of a Sheetz MTO. Anyone else ever eat at Sheetz?

We call them subs, unless they're really messy and meaty, then they're grinders.

Bah, whats with all these unneeded names.

Sandwich!

Sub of course! What do they call the subways in all those other places anyways?

Hoagieway?
Torpedo way?
Grinderway?
Po-Boyway?

Heh.

EDIT: Doh! I was using the search function, and found this thread. Didn't realize it was so old =( Sorry for bringing it to life again.

haha, I was like what the hell? I made that thread MONTHS ago!

I call mine a nuclear sub sandwich. It'll blow your socks off.

Po-Boy sounds funny. I'll pick that one.

Actually, I just had a "Meatballa Po-Boy" at a place called Jason's Deli a few minutes away from USF. I think I'll be going back there rather frequently...

Okay, deli meat... I couldn't think of anything better to call it at the time.
