in decay the two female scientists work together and help gordon in hl1 but we dont see it. in the final level they destroy the ships and fix the beacon then you see the two scientists in space. a green beacon hits one of them and the other gets back laying on the ground where she gets help from one. but what happent to the other scientist cause i cant remember her getting back so i think we will she her in hl3 cause i think the g-man gets hold of her. i am not sure this is the way the whole think happent so i ask those hl-veterans who finished decay.

Didn't he help prevent Race X from coming through that portal? That was quite helpful of him I thought. He at least deserved a basket of mini muffins to go with those green zippy things.

I'm sure that Race X could have been a real threat to humanity, but the Combine literally dropping in out of nowhere and "WTF PWNing" everything probably put Race-X off for the forseeable future
