after having crysis on my desktop for the past year, this seems a little out of place.
it does look very dated compared to screenshots comming out for all kinds of games. GOW for the pc pulls off the dark look much better.
yea its a mod. ive seen so many mods die due to being far too ambitious. ZM did the right thing and modded hl2, didn't try to make an entirely new game.
obviously that was a good strategy. they can always replace models later on.
was ANY credit card information compromised? from what i gathered, there was. it was minimized by someone as saying its only cybercafe owners (though im sure they don't think its a small deal)
thats the issue. ive had my number stolen, and used. its ****ing scary, but it happens, happens...
"Halflife2.net has known about this supposed hacking situation since the day the alleged hacker, MaddoxX, first revealed on his website that he had broken into Valve's extremely sensitive customer information base, and threatened to release thousands of customer credit card information. But...
Wow, this is blowing my mind
This is mind blowing to me. to the guy i quoted, the article says " He only had card details of Steam Cyber Cafe owners."
if he can get that, he can get anything. your not safe anywhere. i had my number stolen, and the bank said the theives will get your...
it was that way with farcry as well. probably why matto was able to make such badass sp mods in such a small amount of time.realtime gameplay design is as much a breakthrough as realtime rendering for creating awsome playing games quickly.
hahahahaha "release date" hahahahahaha
when will they ever learn?
seriously though, i finally got a 360, and im actually looking forward to this package. im hesitant only to get the one with ep 3 included though in the future. i will be so pissed if i play 1-2 and then 3 is 2 years...
I was being fairly sarcastic with the post. I also know that its expensive to dev unreal 3, but i don't think engine costs should be included in the cost of the game dev cause the engine will be used and licensed to dozens of games if not hundreds over the next few years. They will recoup there...
I think the best way for valve to release episodic content would be to develop it on the Unreal 3 engine. GOW was developed for under 10 million, meaning developing in the U3 engine is quite fast and much easier then source evidently, and GOW sure as hell wasn't a rushed shitty game. It was...
how come people always release stupid screenshots. not dissing the graphics, but man those screenies suck. well, even the graphics are meh.
companies need to start releasing screenshots like crytek is. making sure theres great angles, they show closeups of the characters etc. those look like...
well it is suppose to be for more indy developers. its like the independent film channel. 90% of whats on it sucks, but periodically you'll find a gem
obviously people are buying these out of nowhere games, or else they would be upping the quality. either way, its a pc game that looks worse...
