Cant one just take a smoke without getting bombarded with drug deals and sex offers?

So i was just walking down the street to get home, light up a cigarette and start smokeing, im not a smoker but lately ive done it more regularly. Anyway, first some old guy walks by and starts talking to me, and since i dont know italian i just go "ingles? ingles?" and he just keeps on talking, then he points towards the woods and makes the money gesture with his hand, im like "no no gracie" and then i walk away and he follows me and keeps on talking, im like "NO got to go home bye" and walks faster, finally he gives up and walks away. Always when im walking and smokeing there is someone who wants to either buy/sell sex or drugs, god damnit just cuz i have a cigarette in my hand doesnt mean i want a dick in my mouth!!! FFS

At another time this crackhead asked if i had some and i said no and he started to get pissy, then this other dude who was high came up beside me and just starred at me, i walked away and they followed me and keept saying shit in italian, followed me for quite a bit till they finally gave up.

I live in italy btw

Clearly you look like someone that either has such a sad life you are out LOOKING for drugs to ease the pain of your existence, and/or you look like the sort of person that has never had / finds it hard to get / is desperate for sex.

Why else would they be so persistent? You say no to them, and they're thinking "yeah right, we can tell you need it...".

Im from sweden but live in italy, so i dont consider myself italian, been here for 3 years. I dont want ppl talking italian to me all of the sudden lol

Italian is piss hard to understand, plus i dont ever talk to italians cuz i only hang out with the americans and do everything on-base where everything is in english.

I guess one day il strap a camera on my head and say YES to some guy who asks, then il upload it to youtube so you all can watch :D

Also, I'm sure you fail to see the irony of calling me a troll, when YOUR only reason for posting in this thread was to attempt to insult / flame and troll me. At least I posted on topic, and gave some helpful advice as to the cause of the poor sad fellows dilemma.

Oh, this might seem incredible to you, but the person you were replying to used the words 'Oh how I envy thee' as a sarcasm statement. If you honestly want to nitpick the way he talks like that, I could just as easily call you a tosser for using the words 'gave some helpful advice as to the cause of the poor sad fellows dilemma'.

In other words, you had no intention of talking in a meaningful way at all, similar to roughly 80% of all other posts I've ever seen you post.

I made a perfectly legitimate and valid point. Just because I did not sugar coat it, or present it in a happy lollipop way does not make it any less valid. He obviously looks like an easy and likely target/customer for their wares.

I tell it like it is, not how your mummy would tell you while cuddling you, and telling you that Bambi is in heaven.
