Windows is activated, and the gaming is good on my new computer. Just bought Oblivion today, it's fricking mind-blowing. I was just gonna see what classes you guys picked/created.

Speaking of that, I've heard from a lot of people with Oblivion or Morrowind, and what's up with everyone picking classes from the list all the time? It's much more efficient to customize one, I think.

I <3 new pc. Secksy.

I've got an..archer..thing with some sign and what not.

I don't remember, all I know is I run around with a sword because bows don't do enough damage.. :(

Breton, born under the mage - nightblade. So far, it's proving a great mix.

Aragonian Assassin born under the sign of the Shadow, sadly I was not raised as a Shadowscale as Aragonians born under the Shadow are meant to be, but the game is fun anyway.

Lets see, my characters are:

Dark Elf Assassin (Picked from the list, fitted the concept perfectly)
Wood Elf Ranger (Is good with bows, swords, light armor, alchemy, blocking, athletics and sneaking)
Imperial Mage (Same as above)
Nord Nordic Fighter (Good with blades and blunt weapons, heavy armor, athletics, armorer, block and speechcraft)

Wood Elf thief guy. I made my own class, I think I named it "awesome". Pretty good with bows and blades, and I have the arena light raiment.

Nordic Archer. I'm getting pretty darned good with Armorer skill, but of course my bow skill is through the roof for someone at my level. :D

Haha, I know the feeling. When I was trying to steal some tax paper things from some dude..he would wake up and attack me. Well, he didn't realize you could go AROUND the bed..so he kept running at me...at the bed...so I Just filled him fulla arrows...twice.

I'm a Dark Elf thief/warrior hybrid (with a little bit of magic). As stretched-out as you'd think I'd be, it actually turned out perfectly. I'm GODLY.

Elessar: Imperial Ranger who's really more of a thief/assassin (blade, light armor, sneak, marksman, security, alchemy, athletics), level 21. After finishing the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood, finding Goldbrand, Umbra, Azura's Star and the Skeleton Key, the game stopped being fun. Saying I was godly is a huge understatement. Being able to keep goldbrand at full charge all the time (umbra + azura's star) means you will NEVER be killed. The skeleton key along with the Grey Fox's helm really kills the sneaking part of the game too, it's just SO easy.

I started a new character who will hopefully avoid these pitfalls.

Eliedon: Brenton Knight (custom class: Mysticism, heavy armor, blade, block, destruction, athletics and restoration)

Argonian acrobat under the sign of the Shadow. I knew nothing about how the game worked when I first fired it up, I just wanted to get out of the first dungeon and explore the world.

As a result my character is kind of crap, but I like him that way. He struggles a bit but can take most anything down atm provided he has a nice weapon and has a few sneak attacks first. Of course, vampirism helps. Kvatch, however, was stupidly hard. Kvatchian guards got annihilated in seconds and I had to take down tons of Atronachs single-handed, while that narcoleptic head guard fell asleep all over the place. Otherwise, I'm satisfied with the difficulty curve my char faces.

Jim Cramer, I'm a warrior that yells a lot about stock and has a lot of big buttons to push

Thief as a class and Thief as a sign. I can bump into unfriendly NPC's and they still don't notice me.

Breton with 500MP and total innate resistance to all magic. With all my enchantments, I can get my MP all the way up to 800. I'm so close to becoming a master conjurer. My summons rock. I am starting to becoming good at blade, as I wanna fight too :D.

I made my own.

Just called it "Assassin Knight"

Which is pretty much just a knight character w/ sneak/security aspects as well, as destruction.

After going through a few incarnations of the thief type class I was after, I determined the only way I could pull it off and not be gimped in combat was to make a combat character with stealth abilities rather than the other way around (as stealth abilities are so fecking easy to raise anyway). So my class at the mo is -

Shasta McNasty
Redguard (adrenaline rush ft-mother****ing-w) Rogue

Specialisation - Combat
Primary Attributes - Strength/Agility
Birthsign - The Warrior (a mod I'm using allows attributes to excede 100 based on birthsign, and I want as much str as I can get :))

Majors -
Block
Blade
Athletics
Sneak
Acrobatics
Light Armour
Marksman

Loving it.

My very first character ever - an Imperial Theif born under the Warrior, I didn't mean for it to be so out of mix, but he is one hell of a Theif.
