I know this might be a repeated thread, but I would just like to talk about the most believed HL3 and G-Man theories. Post what you think!
 
sorry to be a pain, but how is this different from the other countless g-man threads?

Any way, as far as the G-man goes... it's hard to guess... I mean there are so many strange things that happen with him. Like vortogrant ( think that how its spelt ) watching the G-Man on the tv in hl2. Or when he gives that one guy the rocket launcher... its like.. everyone seems to know him but you lol, and Im pretty sure he was on that picture in Dr Kleiners lab. Stand next to you. Obvisouly he is very powerfull... and if he can stop time, he probably doesn't really need gordon... just testing him. I don't know, it's very confusing.
 
id guess he finds his way back to detroit and then hed probly have got fired for beeing away for so long so hed have to do something dramatic to get his hair dressing job back and then hed probly have to find somewhere to stay coz he would have lost his apartment.
 
Its almost required that at some point in a sequel we HAVE to rebel against G-Man or whoever is controlling us....

Well after we defeat the combine.

I hate the fact that gordon is just being used all through hl2.

I think the Gman is Freeman OR the gman is from a race under the control of the Combine and sees the last hope is left in Freeman.

right. i agree with samon there. gman does not equal freeman. makes absolutley no sense and would just be a horrible story. and, i dont think he was in the picture in kleiners lab either. i didnt see a resemblance.
 
maybe gman is a vortucant thing coz they have powers n shit like healing maybe if one was stronger and wiser it could do stuff that gman does. im saying that in relevance to the thread that suggested that gman was from a species controlled by combine but then again if he can do stuff like stop time and shit then he can surely wipe out the combine i meen he could freeze time n then set a bomb n then run away and start time up again.
 
He was not on that picture at Klieners, that was another generic scientist.

Once again, I think the Gman is a being from another planet under the control of the Combine, and after looking around, he sees Freeman is his species last hope... Plausible? Stupid? You be the judge.
 
well mutley do humans have the ability to stop time travel in time and all that no i dont think they do and do say things like "He is a human, stop thinking he is some alien" because u dont know that.

why did u ban crackhead he was only joking. he has asked me to come here and beg you to unban him he promises he wont mess about and will stay in the editing part of the forum. and if you take a look on that part he regulaly helps people with problems with xsi and other things.

Well if you like to annoy NPCs they way I do, you have probably heard a certain line from a vortigaunt:

"We serve the same mystery".

Obviously the only mystery we serve is GMan (it could be Dr. Kleiner... But nah...). The vortigaunts serve the GMan in some way, or they cooperate with him. They must play a great role in helping Freeman, and we don't notice it. Not just by mounting a gun on the airboat or charging our suit up. There's more to them than meets the eye.
