We've all played portal. Which was aperture science. Who owns the Borealis.

Gordan will go to the Borealis, find a portal gun or technology that leads to said gun, bring it to the science minions, and boom. A chain of portal related super-advances will wave over the rebels as they become much much deadlier than ever before, and something conflicting will come of this that Gordan needs to undo.

And, after at least one adviser is killed, the portal gun has gotten a nice workout, and at least one good Vortigaunt encounter have taken place, Gordan will prepare.

And Half-Life 3 will be hinted at with Gordan attacked and probably stunned on none less than the Combine Homeworld.

Your "idea" should it be deemed worthy of such, is not even properly laid out. It's not particularly clear, and it's not particularly detailed. As far as I understand, what you believe is an original idea, in including the Portal Gun into Portal, is the intrinsic principle behind your storyline. However, you're quite mistaken, as this idea has been brought forth many times and too frequently.

I notice that this is your first post here, and I'd like to have welcomed you with open arms. However, you did not take time to search the forums for similarly projected ideas, or hang around here to get to know people or see if anyone else posts a theory thread. Ideas such as this have been discussed and raped beyond belief.

As to your idea for "Boom" and "Things drastic happening everywhere", it's quite painful to read. Marc Laidlaw writes the story, and he writes it well. It's not necessary to suggest "cool things" because it's probably not going to happen. If you think an idea is cool, go make a mod about it and pray that people play it. But it won't be canon and people might not even like it. Plus you're not very specific when it comes to what happens to the rebels. Your idea sounded just like any generic Hollywood movie, which is exactly what Valve don't want.

And why are you even thinking of Half-Life 3 yet without having even finished off the Combine. If you'd been around here for any length of time, you'd know that the Half-Life 2 story arc is finished with in Episode Three. Which implies that the Combine will have been defeated (or not defeated) so there would be little reason to deal with them in a fourth game.

As to how you come off in your first post, you just make yourself sound like an excited little boy having come across Half-Life for the first time, simply because you've dived straight into it with no thought about it at all. This isn't going to come off well to anyone.

The only positive point I can make about your "How I think ep3..." is that it appears to be correctly spelt.

It will involve a sex change, exploding fruit, dancing tomatoes, and the Cereal God.
