I am a fat slob.

Tip: Don't measure yourself frequently thinking any changes on the scale, positive or negative to your goal are actual changes in your body mass from weight loss. They are quite likely just gains or losses of water in your body or matter in your bowels.

When you weigh yourself, weigh like every week to find patterns and not every day.

jebus 50lbs is a lot to pack on ..were you a fatty before you gained the 50lbs? A friend of mine lost 40-50lbs in about 4 months just by working out/only eating 3 meals a day

I was 178 when I started my first diet and was like 5'6, took me about a year or so to lose 45 pounds, so I was down to around 133 and about 5'6 1/2. Then I gained fifty pounds and I'm at about 183.

I agree, but my scale also measures fat content and water content using electric resistence, and I am graphing all three on a piece of graph paper with the weeks marked out.

I'm not fat, but I'm not really skinny. Really, it's my ass/thigh/stomach that's fat. Eh, I'm not an unhealthy fat, so if someone doesn't like it, screw em, imo.

lol what's left? neck? ears? ;)

ya but shapely ankles in youth = morbid obesity by middle age

Then they'll be the sexiest middle aged morbidly obese ankles i'll ever see.

Notice how the people who are never familiar with/affected by something are the first ones to say how easy it is to change, how inconsequential it is? Apparently if you've always been skinny, losing weight is easy! Attractive? Don't worry, looks don't matter! I'd like to see you lose over 100 pounds, and then we'll talk.

Sure I guess everything has always worked out for me, but that doesn't mean that I haven't worked hard my whole life to achieve what I want to. I see people that can't achieve the simplest of achievable goals which they claim they want, and I say that either they don't really want to do it, or they are lazy and inflexible with their life, unwilling to put up with the smallest hardships on the way to a life that is supposedly better in their eyes. Ultimately you can run your own life, and blaming your perceived problems on your family or genetics is just trying to rationalize them instead of learning to live with it or changing it.

And if I lost over 100 pounds I would be skinnier than the Holocaust survivors. I certainly wouldn't be in any state to talk to you afterward. Why would I want to do that?

So you can be an actor in a movie about skeletons obviously.

Or indeed a movie about the Holocaust.

Sometimes it is insanely hard to get motivated to do something... something you really want to do.

If it helps any, recently I saw a documentary of a guy from Mexico who simply put on weight because it was all he could do after failing to have a job in Dallas, TX.

He weighed about 500 lbs, and ended up with a renewed effort of being able to walk.

Since it was too much for me I simply went to bed and then was informed that the man had two colossal buildups of stuff in the backs of his thighs and his skin started to "break" around those regions.

Today whenever I feel like a massive parasite I remind myself of Manuel and how I was able to lead a perfectly unbroken and undisturbed life.

Ultimately you can run your own life, and blaming your perceived problems on your family or genetics is just trying to rationalize them instead of learning to live with it or changing it.

I like these kinds of thoughts because they reaffirm what I believe in. These days it is hard to go by without staring into space illogically.

there are pluses to being morbidly obese for one thing you can use a rag on a stick without shame ..also finding dropped food within the layers of fat can be like treasure hunting

Hey fatty boom boom, want another cream cake? Sorry... it was neccesary. I wish you the best in losing weight.

It just so happens I'm trying to gain weight. We should work out some surgical solution.

I feel like I'm getting the morbidly obese end of the deal

You know what the TS needs? A guy that walks upto him, pokes him in his belly and starts laughing. From that day on, the only thing you'll ever want is to kick that guys ass.

It's actually not that hard to lose weight IMO. It just takes discipline, and mental control. I no longer eat breakfast or lunch. Some people consider that crazy, but I eat when I get home, and then I have dinner and I am set for the day.

It can be hard at first.

Lunch.

Breakfast is essential. I usually skip my lunch. Unless its free. Singaporean mind yaus
