Missing stuff in Dr. Kleiners lab

So i was fooling around with the game a bit (can you even transport the gun turret with the combine teleporter?).
Right after entanglement, when you walk out of the teleporter in Dr. Kleiners lab, you see near the generator thingy (the green round thing with the pipe coming out) there is a tube missing with a Yellow liquid, that was there when you first entered Dr. Kleiners lab. What do you think it is for?

Have you ever seen it somewere else?

Hmmm, maybe Barney took it before leadint the rebellion? Every good hero needs a makeshift melee weapon!

Honestly though, perhaps lamarr took it, or bit it, or it had to be replaced. Maybe the combine were shooting into some window or something and it was blown off. Maybe... iunno, it was a week since arriving in Kleiner's lab in the first place, so maybe... maybe... I unno, what happens in a secret lab in a post apocalyptic world in one week =/?

Could be a generator. They do have interesting new generator tech in the future. Eli, for instance, has the big version of the gravity gun's internal power supply in his funky lab. Mind you, this looks nothing like that one.

On display next to this liquid tanks is some complicate chemical structure, it looks like some kind of nanotechnology to me. Interestingly, same display can be seen in missile silo at the end of the trailer for Episode Two.

IIRC, when you return the tubes are missing but there is a stain on the ground. Maybe they shattered because of a raid or bombing or something?

...on that "seven hours war"news(in lab) is inturesting thing in left corner on top...some big ship ore something, it looks so combine and big...I always wonder what that could be.

I think that's what I call a "Combine Bomber". If the gunships are their fighters, the Bombers are their... bombers. They probably did all the real dirty work of destroying cities and such in the 7 Hour War.

LOL!!! Nice, Anyways, you can see a lot of mechanics quite often through HL2 and HL1 (differenth things like machine parts used in different machines) I can't name any off the bat, but lots of things were familiar. But they were all minor details, so to me, it would make sense if they used the same model somewhere else as well, you could probably even find one in Eli's lab, or in Water Hazard.

Manhack. You can see pieces of manhack on the table by the interactive surveilance TV.

Ya. The portal is even larger at the end of EP:1. The rift is as wide as the citadel's diameter.(The citadel is large, considering innumerable striders and gunships can be constructed deployed inside. We knew how large it is in the Chapter "Our Benefactor")

That part though, with the two gunships though, awesome. I remember that scen and it was like "whoah". Anyways, I'm sure the combine have bombers, but I don't think that the ship in the paper was a bomber, it looks way too big. :S

There are some strange bits on the "Earth Surrenders" page, in amongst the text,I can vaguely see some sort of face.

If only we could read a few of the words... darned blurriness!
