I know the picture quality ain't the best. Forgive that. Comments?

(yes, i know it's mediocre at best, but it's worth a shot)

im 12 years old and what is this

The forced depth of field/focus looks bad. Also look it's Gordon Freeman!

All in all your posing/environment choice is pretty good, but you need to tighten up a few things to get it looking really professional.

Make the font more readable and not all italic. Speech especially should not be italic.

I don't at all understand what happened at the end.

The Black citizen never moves, neither of them opens their mouths when they talk, you need to work on your layout and not have all that empty space next to your images, and there's a reason people use speech bubbles.

Thank you all for the advice. This is a pretty rough draft of sorts I posted for just that reason: advice. This thing took about an hour and a half to create, and I didn't expect it to look professional.

And no, it's not Gordon Freeman. He is not going to make an appearance in any of the comics to come in the future.

I'm not good with facial posing in gmad, so they kept their mouths shut.

As far as the speech... I just picked the first font i saw that looked speechy... it's not italicized. And the speech bubbles take up too much space and look ugly as hell.

Just because you didn't click the italic button doesn't mean the font isn't considered italic. That's like picking a font that is really bold to begin with and saying "but it's not bold, I didn't click the bold button!!"

Probably a combination of you doing it poorly, and not framing your shots well when you take them in Gmod. This is why storyboarding is important. Plan your shots and panel sizes/shapes accordingly to accommodate speech bubbles.

Making a comic requires planning.

Like I said... this is notp professional work... yet. I'm just not a huge fan of having a picture then a large BLOB of space with text. I'll work with it, move it around some. This is a rough draft, mainly so I can get some constructive comments, for which I thank everyone.

A rough draft would be storyboards. This is a blind attempt at a final product, as are most nooby gmod comics.

It doesn't have to be professional to be halfway decent.

Who said anything about a large blob of space with text? You can have the same amount of text as you do now.

Yeah, hlcomic.com is not going to be topped by anyone. I'm not trying to.

You're right. You really can read my mind, and know my plans for every comic I ever do. In fact, you know exactly what stage I'm in, despite only seeing one thing. While you're at it, please tell us how Episode 3 will end. We're all dying to see the fruit of your psychic powers.

Good idea, be a smartass when I'm giving advice.

Your advice was based on incorrect assumptions about my personal approach to things like this.

Frankly, the entertainment I get from being a smart-ass outweighed the value of the advice you were giving.

Thats pretty sweet, keep up the good work.

I was going to give advice, until I saw the way you reacted to Vegetas CC.

The mixed/rare compliments are making me nervous...

Yes, I'm making more. Yes, they are better than this. I listened to everyone's advice. Really. Even Vegeta.
