Old Zombie Mod, anyone remember it?

I read a while ago (2-3 years) in a PC Gamer(?) magazine about a mod for I think Half Life 1 that put you against an unlimited amount of zombies. You had to build a fortress at the beginning out of many different components, such as force walls, and you could even build "machines" like a spinning razor thingy. After that, the swarm of zombies came at you and you had to last as long as possible. You could never win though. It was set in a giant open grass field. Anyone remeber what it was called? There are many mods like that for HL1. Although I do not think any allow you to build traps because I think that is impossible with gold source.

I've played that, it's a mod for Garry's Mod. Can't remember what it's called, might be Zombie Survival? Either way you should be able to find it looking around GM servers or on the Facepunch forums.

HL1 mod? Brainbread was the main zombie online shooter for HL1, but it sounds nothing like that.

A really good small mod similar to that video but with antlions instead of zombies is antlion troopers deuce

It is from PC Gamer, though for me it was the Australian version (that and the UK version are waaaaaay better than the US version).

As I recall the article was around the beginning to middle of 2005.

Monster Onslaught

I believe it's called Monster Onslaught

I saw this in the PC Gamer magazine as well. I forgot what it was, and have been searching today for a while trying to find it. That's what I came up with. I'm still searching to see if there is a more recent version. But just Google it, if this is the mod you're looking for.

You start off in a field with zombies coming at you from a distance. You can spawn whatever you like to try and build a fortress to keep them out. The monsters/zombies become more difficult and plentiful as the game progresses. It's extremely fun.

Sorry, I know this is an older topic. I thought it would be helpful, however, to anyone like myself who's also searching for this mod.
