[br]Valve's Chet Faliszek has confirmed to NowGamer.com that user-created levels for Portal 2 will be available on PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360.

The mod tools have to stay on the PC side just because there’s a bunch of dependencies that require the Windows platform. But the content that comes out is agnostic, and so we will be seeing that on all the platforms. Depending on the platform you’re on I should say, will depend on how we’re delivering it.

He also added that PS3 users would get the levels through Steamworks. No word yet on how they're going to deliver the content on the Xbox 360 but I think "Paid DLC".[br]

Portal 2 releases on April 22 on PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Interesting that Valve are able to push so many new things in the industry, I hope cross-platform gaming gets off the ground.

So are we going to see an official, Steam-run, user-made level repository? I hope that's how they're doing it and not just Valve picking a handful and adding them to the game.
