strategy guide goes wrong

in the halflife 2 strategy guide it gives you 10 places where the G-man is. i have found all of thes plus 1 more that the strategy guide has missed out!!! i know its shocking isnt it! on the final section of waterhazard after you have destroyed the combine helicopter. whil you are heading towards the damn and you cross that rikety old bridge you can see him at the righ of your screen standing next to the damn. about 2 seconds later he walks off.

In fact, once you arrive to the "farm house" which stands near the damn, the G-man is already standing at the dam. You can stare at him forever... (Notice: You lower your weapon when aiming at him, although this information IS old...)

There are hundreds of places that the guide doesn't list, its not supposed to spoil the game totally, its a GUIDE.

Maybe its a mistake, maybe it isn't but the fact that you found that 'extra' G-Man location must feel good. Theres probably a few locations and the point is that when you find them it makes you feel good! Thats why they left them behind. But anyway thats what i think :afro:

It is not there fault. They wrote the guide using a non retail build of the game and in that build the chapter "Our benefactors" was called "Benefactory."

And the gman wasn't talking to Cubbage in that build - the proof is on the actual page where the guide uses the binocs, and you can see no gman. Not the guides fault.

I think there are 12/13 g-man sightings in the game.

the one that no-one seemed to mention is when ur looking at the security cameras at the beginning if u flip through them enough times g-man pops up fixes his tie and leaves

i havent read the stragety guide but i found him in one that they didnt mention online. i think it was in the follow freeman level and when i went to crawl under a gate thing it wasnt big enough for me to get under. but i seen the G-MAN on the other side walking away. the only way to see this is to look under all those blue gates
