Hopefully, someone can get me out of a fix.... I tried to activate the cheat console by modifying the target line in Icon properties (tried to put in C:\ProgramFiles\Half-Life 2\hl2.exe-console ) and when that didn't work, tried putting back the original (C:\ProgramFiles\Valve\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 220) and that didn't work either! Ideally would like to get the cheats working but would just settle for getting the desktop icon working again!
