Team Fortress 2 Updates Coming To Xbox 360 Later This Year, Gonna Cost You

I used to be really cool with Cavalry....:(

Do you play on the PC or 360?

Played PC, 7-8 months ago before the Medic update. I think it might have been even earlier than that, I don't know I think the last time it worked was in December/January, beyond that it crashed so much that I only got to play 10-20 minutes. Worked real well before that, I had everything on max.

heh, that's how my computer's been in general for the last year or so.

I feel for you.My problem is isolated and TF2 only, personally I regret owning it and don't plan on ever buying a Valve product again.

Your not going to buy another Valve game again because your computer is dying? Pretty lame ass excuse if you ask me...

Wow... This is why I don't own a 360, not saying the console is bad but Microsoft seems to love the idea of "Control Media" (1984?!?!?)... And this is why I own a PS3 because I don't have to pay to play online, etc (Not saying PS3 is better or so just like the idea).

Ohhhh yeah that's right, I own it on PC - Free Updates, Free Game play, Free Mods and huh hmmm Free PORN!

Sorry, that was mean of me....

No, no, it's fair to bring up the porn point. I wouldn't be the man I am today without gigabytes upon gigabytes of free porn.

While I wouldn't go so far as to never buy a Valve product again, many people still experience random crashes and incremental performance decreases with TF2. Not all of it is a problem on the user's end.

I'm not liking the XB360 exclusivity. They really need to add PS3 support because it is becoming more popular...and...I have one! :) I like playing on the big t.v. vs my 20" lcd.

All PS3 Orange Box content is handled by EA. It's up to them to get the TF2 updates out on PSN, but only after Valve is done porting the updates to the 360 first.

i love it. PC gamers have the money to constantly buy upgraded pcs and hardware in order to meet the requirements. Think about it. You guys put foward a lot of money every year to be able to play. All I have to do is pay for the console and game. The occasional DLC is worth it. But you guys have to by bigger hardrives, memory sticks to back up the files, buy a new mouse for more accurate turning (just for the hardcore)

You do not realise how stupid that sounds. We upgrade because we can and it makes our rigs better , you shell out once for a machine that wont get better , in fact it will get worse , and you blow it out of proportion. I only slightly upgrade my machine every half year or so , its not like im upgrading every month.

If you would read what I wrote I said that the problem is isolated. The reality is that everything else runs great except TF2. TF2 runs like crap no matter what settings I put it on and I spent months trying to get it to run for more than 15 minutes but in the end it became apparent that the true reason was the update because I hadn't changed a thing since first getting TF2.

Right you are; however, TF2 isn't the only reason, TF2 is just the last straw.

really cause i dont have to upgrade until the next console comes out every 4-5 years. so im not doing that again. no way. I was an avid PC gamer turned console gamer. go figure
