I face a difficult choice: will i buy the orange box for ps3 or pc??
I have a hp pc with 1 gig ram,a geforce 6600,a pentium 4 with 3.2 ghz.
So if i preload it on steam i will have it the day it is released,i can play it toghter with the hl2.net communtity and my friends,....
BUT will my pc be able to run it and if it does, how???
On the other hand if i buy it on ps3 i will need to wait a couple of weaks longer,i cant play it toghter with the hl2.net community and my friends,...
BUT my ps3 will be able to run it nice and smooth no errors and hardware problems.

So what should i do???

Pc version, Easily

PC

The PC version will have better online support (and as you say, all your friends), mod support (i.e. Garry's Mod will require Orange Box for Orange Box content etc.) and has infinitely better controls than the hand crippling Dual Shock.

Its essentially the same as the old engine, and im sure all their new lighting effects etc will be completely optional.

It'll look much better and run smother on the PS3 than it will on your pc. But, you'll have to play with a pad and won't be able to mess with mods. You might also have more friends with the pc version and you won't be able to play with them.

I don't mind playing with a pad and couldn't care less about mods, but my mates will be playing TF2 on the pc and so will I :)

PC all the way. Much better controls, better online support/updates, mods, friends.

The only thing where the PS3 will have your PC beat is in graphics.

I've dont got problems with the controller (ok,maybe a little bit :hmph: ) But i want to play with my friends and download mods,...
But i also want good graphics. And because my computer is already pretty full with games (the ship,hl2,episode 1,cs:s,hl2:dm,medieval II,the sims 2 and four expansions, hitman 4,arma,...) and is having problems with running some of those games , I doubt that my pc can it handle. But i dont no mutch about hardware so can my pc handle it??
