Thief and Widescreen

Greetings. I'm playing through some older games at the moment, and I'm suprised to see most of them running so well. However, Thief Deadly Shadows is bothering me. It doesn't support widescreen resolutions. Deus Ex, the original, did this. That's a six year old game. Does anyone know how to tweak some of the settings, like the Deus Ex user.ini file?

I've tried, but the resolutions are only chosen in preset numbers (1-4) while in th user.ini file.

Any help?
