Wallace Breen sighted in Chicago area

Consider this an all points bulletin to any available rebellion forces, at least for those who live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago ...

Dr. Wallace Breen (or at least his car) was spotted today heading south on Milwaukee Avenue in the town of Glenview, IL. A late model red Chevrolet Corvette (C5 generation, model year 97-04) was seen heading south past Lake Street with a bizarre, ape-like robot in hot pursuit.

Okay, I didn't see Dog chasing Breen, but seriously though ... I did see a red Corvette with the plate W BREEN going by me in the opposite direction today in the location mentioned. I'd have taken a picture and posted it here if I were behind it at a stoplight, but I wasn't. Probably just a coincidence, of course ... as nice as a Corvette is, I'd still expect Dr. Breen to have something a little more substantial as a personal means of transport, say for example, a Combine tank.

Just a funny story I thought I'd share.

Yeah, definitely asking for a ban. I have a real history of being such a nuisance here, and making a post in a what might be deemed an inappropriate section is clearly a capital offense. Tell you what ... since it's such a huge deal, please report the post to a mod and have it deleted, and I'll just avoid posting completely for fear of angering forum nazis in the future.

Wow, six posts and so far Redneck is the only one to actually reply on topic. :upstare: Thanks for the support, though ... yeah, I've been here since the beginning, but I don't post much because certain members with triple-digit post counts feel obligated to talk down to people with lower post counts regardless of the fact that they may be two years their senior with regard to being a forum member.

No slight against those with high post counts, but as the OP would suggest, I have a life outside the forum, so my post count isn't much to look at. Regardless, I'm a diehard fan who'll be there the moment Episode 1 is active ... even if it's at 2AM on a weeknight like HL2 was.

As far as the actual game goes, I personally think we'll find Breen manage to make a getaway from the Citadel via Combine means, but his influence over them is probably going to be slipping just like the G-Man's control over the sequence of events surrounding Gordon. The Combine will end up turning on him, if it hasn't already. It would be very cool if other entities start questioning allegiance to their respective sides and begin to go rogue too, blurring the line between friend and foe ...
