I did...and I made a simple post explaining that people are idiots no matter what game they play and idiots are all over but then people disagreed and continues to assume all idiots play consoles and all the cool kids play PC and then you jumped into the middle and I honestly don't even know what your trying to prove.

The thought process does annoy me, what if someone jumped into politics and said "All Iraqis should die because they are too stupid to help themselves". Obviously that's a very ignorant and flawed statement but hey...laugh a little.

You don't need to prove people are wrong. Especially when there are sufficient numbers working against you in the matter. Just let the whole thing slide. Trying to prove your point (which may very well be the correct one) is just a waste of energy. This also combines with the whole dickwad thing. You really cannot expect to have a proper debate over the internet.

I understand...I mainly brought the point up because no one called out the generalizations going on and they kept coming up so I figured I would say something. I also completely understand the not being able to articulately convey thoguths into persuasive words because I used to have the worst time with it, and still do which is part of the reason I jump into arguments so often. I do make myself look like an ass but I hope to improve my wording to make it more sensible and persuasive even if I end up looking like an ass. I honestly never mean offense even if it seems like I do. Unless I tell you to die in a fire, then I really do mean go die in a fire.
