Who is Andrian?

I met this name in the forums quite a lot. Who is he.
There was this one mod (Gateway) that featured Gordon's brother as a main character. It looked really crappy so I never bothered playing it. So is Adrain actually him.
And also does Barney prevoisly in HL games or is he just based on the Black Messa guards from HL!

he was a soldier(not a guard) in BMRF.

Opposing force was (in my opinion) a nice extra addon, the inclusion of the hand-held barnicle, shockroach and many other weapons added a nice touch, and I think it was the same length as half life

Adrian was the kick ass hero from OpFor, i loved that game. Race X, more Black Ops, new weapons like the Sniper were awesome!
