Yet I feel as though I dont really need to buy it right away (maybe its because I started Mass Effect only last June). I've got Deus Ex, Dragon Age and Puzzle Quest to hold me over until I feel like getting it.

Right, I have started my perfect Mass Effect playthrough in preparation. I have done up to leaving the Citadel for the first time with all side missions done to my role-play character's feelings etc.

Will start Noveria and all that tonight. Should be done by next Friday.

Now seems to be the right time to be replaying ME and getting the characters you want to have survived so you can transfer them to ME2.

And I think the fact that your ME story gets looked at by ME2 and alters the game accordingly, is just...awesome. Why cant all sequels be like that, when youre in the same universe with mainly the same characters involved in the story.

Im just annoyed that I only go home to get the PC version at the very start of May, AND I have to boot camp install Windows 7 first. Argh the wait is gonna kill me. And its out in 8 days...DAMN IT!

Need to negotiate a return trip to the UK soon. Maybe I'll claim dental issues or something, anything to get back to the UK for a day or 2 so I can go home and collect!

My first playthough my guy was ugly as sin too. I didn't bother to rotate his head at all while I was making it so he looked "okay" from the front but from the side his face was all flat and ****ed up, haha.

I played my carry-over game last month (actually happy with how he looks... much better than default)... no sidequests aside from the one that gives you a specialist class, though. Gonna switch him from engineer to sentinel for the new game!
