I was just pointing out that "sleep with" is a rather ironic euphemism when referring to filming porn.

Why..? What does sleeping have to do with porn. He used "sleep with" instead of "have sex with" because it's just a common euphemism used all the time. Unless the euphemism itself had some kind of double reference, like a pun, like for example say if the girl were a ****ing narcoleptic or something, I don't see the reason you're pointing it out as if it's something really clever.

No it wasn't appreciating a witticism. It was ironic because it was, you know, ironic. Exactly because porn has no sleeping. I also feel that "sleep with" intends to add a romantic connotation, and to (accidentally) imply that being hired to have sex on video is romantic made me roll my eyes. Just not a fan of euphemism overuse.
 
I agree with Mutiod Man on this one, I caught the gist of it.
 
I never really thought of "sleep with" to have any other implications beyond simple ****ing, and find it odd that you would find Farrow's choice of words strange. Strange enough to post about it and start this whole ordeal. Though the latter was admittedly not your fault.

well, from my experience prettier girls more often change partners, the usual thing holding them back is the fear of being seen as a slut, but that stigma is fading more each day. well technically they are not fully free right now, but give it time.
at most parties i go there's like one or two drunk girls and 10 guys around them.
normally when guys get drunk most sober girls try to stay clear of them. i'm talking in averages here of course.

I dont understand what, or even who you're arguing against. Nobody in here said that all pretty women are porn stars or even sluts. Also, porn isnt just for dumb bitches, intelligent bitches can do it too. They have to take tests every two weeks or so for STDs and bring that with them whenever they show up for a job. Of course, herpes is common among porn stars, but thats not surprising considering 80% of all people have the herps anyways.

You're incredibly unlikely to get any sexually transmitted diseases from an above-the-table, professional porn actors. Most porn shoots have pretty rigorous standards of safety, and many actors know the risks they are taking and get regularly tested. Shady porn with shady porn actors, maybe not so much, but the assumption that pornstars have STIs is completely false.

As much as you would hate to admit it Kyorisu, you love coming got the lounge.

It's like a bitter-sweet sensation of being given a hundred dollars by being smacked really hard with the bill under the palm, or even midday soap-operas. Which I can't understand for the life of me why so many people say they hate having stress but watch cheap drama flicks.
