Is a geforce 6600gt good for hl2?

Im thinking in upgrading my computer and im thinking in getting a 6600gt (pcie) my questions:
Will this grafic card run in dx 9 mode with hl2??
Will i get a good preformence with this card?? (im thinking in getting a piv3000 and 1024 ram ) do u think ill get stable 60fps playing at 1024 all high (no aa nor af)

Of Couse it is a good card! that card is perfect for the mid-range market and it performs like a champion (for the price).
Pair it with a fast processor and you are good to go, specially at those settings you are goint to play the game at.
