Post a screenshot!

I know. Both Singularity and Wolfenstein 2009 were done by Raven. I compared Rage to these games because on the shooting and level design side they are similar. Wolfenstein 2009 is the most similar to Rage in that it also has a hub city with characters where you get missions.

Image overload from my first attempt at beating Blade Runner, will have to play it over from the start though because I managed to 'break' the game since the storyline is somewhat open-ended in nature (Think L.A. Noire kinda.)

Sadly until EA get some proper anti aliasing in place I'll probably pass on BF3. (and by that I mean lack of transparency anti aliasing on certain textures).

*graphics whore*

Mmmm Blade Runner. That was a pretty fun game and the graphics look incredible to me at the time. I never got that far though.

Viper. Spiders! What a nightmare that is.

Bulletstorm! Everybody hold [C] if you're playing a console port!
First play through - checked out the game, and took in the story line, environment, etc.
Second play through - went after every single skill shot and had fun playing being more familiar with ammo distribution, boss weaknesses, etc.
Third play through - fired up some cheats to play the game without sweating skill shot points and all that. Super fun!

Some screens from my current playthrough of Crusader: No Remorse!

I originally played this game at a friends house back in the late '90s on the PS1 and loved it.

Protip: Don't try to fight a Silencer who just lost his entire team and is out for revenge.

Seeing as how us lowly PC owners have to wait for Arkham City I've been playing Asylum again:-

What's the verdict on the Human Revolution expansion/DLC/thing Shaker?

What's the verdict on the Human Revolution expansion/DLC/thing Shaker?

Wait until a sale. I posted this in the review thread:

The first half is great, but the second half is pretty boring. Lots of backtracking there. No new weapons, tricks or augs either. I hope the people @ Eidos feel more inspired when they make another DLC for this game.

It wasn't so much a DLC as "here's some stuff we cut from the game during development" with the oh-so-unique "take away the player's weapons and abilities" gameplay mechanic.

Hoooly shitballs. How'd you get that to run/ We owned the game on CD but wouldn't run well on windows. So we never got to play it again. I remember that game... yet I don't remember much about it. It has huge nostalgic value while still being really cloudy in my memory since we tried so long to play it again without any luck.

Anyway. Please ignore the messiness of my designs. I sort of just... piecemealed things together eventually as the scope of my operation quickly got beyond my ability to plan. Plus I designed my building poorly from the get go, not realizing the need to have things spaced out properly to allow for pipes and redstone to power engines and stuff. The only things in the screenshots planned out well was my large quad water tanks. The base still has glass but that's only so I can see the redstone circuitry and copy my design later... transplanting it someplace else. Oh and I guess my cactus farming thing is planned out well, though it's highly inefficient. Lots of complexity and resources to harvest a meager amount of cactus. It was a fun learning exercise however.

The mod I have is buildcraft by the way. A really awesome mod. That's the only one I have... I don't have nor want Industrial craft or any of the other fancy ones. Buildcraft feels true to the spirit of minecraft for me.

Looks it, what's the verdict on that anyways? Is it actually engaging past a couple of hours?

Loving the Rage shots too. It's a great game.

I've only played single player so far and am on the last mission (7) and I suspect that once I do there isn't going to be a lot left to do apart from the split screen multi. You do have an assortment of different characters with different ability's though which get saved even if you don't finish a level (you get so many lives to do a level, once they are gone it's game over, no save points in level) so there might be a bit of incentive to go back through with different characters. The whole game is just so well done though. Real old school 8 bit action brought up to date.

holy color correction, batman
