Recommend me some good rock albums or...

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Fortunate Son,

The Dropkick Murphy's cover of Fortunate Son ranks as on of the most awesome covers I have ever heard.

As far as good rock albums go....

Lacuna Coil - Comolies (Gothic Rock with an emphisis on melody and harmony.)

Jack Off Jill - Sexless Demons and Scars (One of the only singers in Rock who can do two types of voice.)

Millencolin - Home From Home (One of the only albums which is consistantly good from start to finish.)

My Ruin - Ruined And Recalled (Technically two albums. But their both awesome and theres the best version of Tainted Love ever!)

However, if you want something a little less mainstream I recommend the following....

Genitorturers - http://www.genitorturers.com/home.html - Industrial Rock essentially. Check out the Sin City album as it contains most of the awesome tracks they've released.

The Bags - http://www.thebags.org/ - Proper rock. If you've played Guitar Hero the band will sound familiar as Cavemen Rejoice was done by these guys. Sharpen Your Sticks is like a punch in the face. Of the awesome kind.

The Missing - http://www.themissing.com/ - Its hard to pin these guys down to any particular Genre so its probably best to just give them a listen.

Oh and what the hell MySpace Links may help too :p

You sir fail.
He is a great singer. I heard him do a cover of Zepplin. He almost sounds better than the original.

Beautiful voice, live and recorded.

Yeah, personally I think Tool's cover of No Quarter is better than the original. But he still is very overrated.

Christ, that's nostalgia and a half, that. I remember listening to them yeaaaaars ago when they were on that flash animation. Er, the one with Foamy the cat, had the 'goth' girl. It's rubbish, basically, but I remember really liking these guys after that, although I couldn't find ANYTHING on them.

Not quite the same now, but I'll re-download the samples. I remember Scarecrow slightly, so lemme see if it rings any bells now..

Tool and A Perfect Circle are overrated.

*shudders
You sicken me
.....well yah most of Tool's music is pretty bleah, but their new album is grand.
And as for A Perfect Circle, absolutely marvelous.

APC are far from overrated.

I recommend listening to QOTSA - Songs For The Deaf definately up there with the best modern rock albums.

Isis is a hit and miss with me, I like Oceanic more so than Absence... alot more, actually.

Red Sparowes I really like, this post-rock stuff isn't half-bad, likewise with Jesu.

Kyuss are pretty good actually but I only have one of their albums.

Kyuss ftw

Check out their album Wretch too, some real gritty songs that will have you head banging.

Kyuss are great. Get Welcome to Sky Valley. Demon Cleaner is mad awesome.

Really? Ah, thats still cool, I just much prefer the more calmer stuff, but Oceanic is still one of their best albums.
