So... I got PS3

****ing japanese ps3 is usless. I paid 400 bucks for a console that does not show blood in any game and can not play NTSC DVDs.

and here I thought japanese 60GB was something special...

 Owned. You should have done your research.

For the record, I have somewhere around 16 360 games. I think I raise up the Attach Rate by myself a little bit.

No blood? what? lol haven't heard that one before... the dvd thing I can understand though. Is it some sort of censorship thing for japan? what, loli tentacle rape porn is all cool but blood crosses the line?

I too have bought myself a AU 60gb model and I must say I have never looked back. Over say most of the criticisms that I have heard thrown about are either completely lacking of any fact, or in the least have been blown out of proportion.

I have myself a few games:

Resistance: Fall of man - Not completely revolutionary but the most fun I have had in a shooter since HL2. And I normally hate console shooters.

Motorstorm - What at first to me seemed as a simple arcade dirt racer with stunning visuals turned out to be just that, and damn addictive. (also the worst source of video game nerd rage to the point of i hadn't touched it for 3 months, picked it up today and in 2 races I had already thrown the controller... ****ing bullshit cheating AI.)

Ratchet and Clank - Not much needs to be said about this one that hasn't already been said. Its wonderful, fun, well polished platforming goodness with my only slight criticism is the repetitiveness of the battles after a while but cheeky fun story and visuals kept me glued.

The Simpson's Game - Game play is old hat and mediocre, but the classic Simpson's humour and the way the game makes fun of itself and its generic gaming flaws made it allot of fun to me. but really only of interest if your a big fan.

Need For Speed: Pro street - Too 'arcady' for sim racers, to sim for arcade racers. I was given this as a present and initially wrote it off... but picked it up again when i was bored, and realised it gets much better as your progress... at least for me, and I love building up the old muscle cars. And visually the cars look great. Worth a look if you have time to invest in it but not allot in the pick up and play that made nfs great, and no cop chases :(

Burnout Paradise - I picked this up recently and its fantastic in the pick up and play when you have 5 mins, then suddenly realise you have been playing it for 5 hours strait. speed, visuals, fun, and online play are all top notch, but its lost a rather large thing that I loved burnout for, the in-house, off-line "party play" side, especially in the 'crash' or as its now called 'show time' mode. Its lost the feel and fun of causing a monumental pile up and has turned into "my car appears to have turned into a giant bunny lest see how many cars I can jump on" and its the only let down I have come across, and it was a big one for me.

there are many games I can wait to get my hands on, first and foremost GTA:IV. Metal Gear Solid 4, little big planet has me utterly charmed I must have it, Gran Turismo 5, I'll definitely line up for resistance 2. Just some of many that draw my eye.

{tl;dr} - lol wtf japan no blood, i has ps3, love it, criticisms largely based on no facts whatsoever, here are the games I have and what I think of them briefly. etc...
