I just about vomited when they presented the 360 like some sort of ancient egyptian idol them went straight to that shitty "killers" song. What has the gaming industry become. Why didn't they just wait for e3 ffs... this is awful. For all of you that dont know i'm talking about the xbox360 revealing :-|

That whole thing was idiotic. It was to show the reveal to the 'stupid' people of the world the X-box 360. Most of the intelligent gamers have known what it looked like for a while.

Oh, and when Elijah announced the X-box 360, and that woman started walking down the stage, I laughed and asked, "Sweet, where do I put the controller?"

lol.

It was so stupid to bring it down like that. I mean come on. They showed the thing for a few split moments, and didn't even go into the specs of it. Not to mention when they did that perfect dark thing, they spent more time filming the people than the game. What kind of morons does MTV appeal to anyways?

I hope to God that the Canadian airing is entirely different than MTV's. This sounds about as depressing as Spike TV's Video Game Awards.

BTW, it's Friday at 12:30am on CTV for my fellow Canadians. If it opens with the Killers, I'll know to change the channel (not that the Killers are bad, mind you).

I loved how that MTV guy at the competition replied to that gamer saying "But they beat you, so they are the better team." How the **** does winning make them automatically a better team? That guy obviously doesn't know anything, or is trying to be an asshole. Ecspecially when arguing with a professional gamer like that.

Wow. I was SO disappointed in this "event." I was excited to watch it to hear anything about the next-gen consoles, but this was utter garbage being spoonfed to the XBox crowd that apparently consists of Ryan Cabrera lovers and fans of Pimp My Ride(without Xzibit even!). Ugh, and to think I was actually worried about what MS had up their evil sleeve with this one. Nothing up there but money, money, and more money. So what if they lose even more on every 360 sold than they lost on the original xbox. And to hear them talk about poly counts of 5000? What exactly is so impressive about that--current systems are doing that fine(eg fighting games have characters with >15,000). I was not impressed with anything I saw. Now to see what Sony can do(I am a hugee PC fan, but the consoles have some great offerings as well).
