Futuristic Extreme Sports Concept
Create a concept design for an extreme sport you may see in the future. This may be of any style, but make sure it is recognizable as futuristic and has some bearing to sports (which can include things like football, boxing, or your own ideas in which humans compete) Make your piece as interesting as possible.

Also, please use this thread for suggestion's on next week's contest... I am going to change the days around because it seems as if that might work better. I'm just going to use the same format as the old ones. But it is really important for your ideas!

The next contest will start Wednesday and end Sunday. Voting will be Monday-Wed. Good idea?

I love em all really. It was tough to decide, but I voted for suicide for the work he put into that flash. To make it fair though, I think animations shouldnt be allowed from now on.

draw a battlefeild? man vs. man? man vs. machine? man vs. alien? men vs. women?

im thinking of a huge, terminator 2 style battle with both sides screaming their war crays and charging head first into certain death or it could be lord of the rings, or warhammer 40k

It seems as if animations give the animator an unfair advantage over other, unanimated art. And that people might just vote for the animated one because it kept them entertained longer. I dunno, unless someone else opposes that, I think animations should be out.

Although, I gotta say, I love your flashes Suicide...

I like those ideas, suicide. How about a "war scene" contest? We would need to be a bit more specific... like you said...

Create a war scene between man and machine

Create a war scene on a distant alien planet

Create a fantasy war scene



Ehh... don't know which one to pick! Well, we just did futuristic... perhaps we could do the fantasy one? Any suggestions, additions or whatever?

the thing is with flash animations is that they take about 4 hours to make. if i was to draw a picture it would take under an hour- so its not like its an unfair advantage because i did put a lot more effort into it.... but saying that i dont mind you disallowing them

and yes, "battle scene" is a bit broad, but why shouldnt it be? as long as it shows a large veiw of the battlefeild it shoulodnt matter whether its modern day, fantasy or the future.

You guys are right, the war scene thing might be a bit too much work. But I was thinking that the main focus would be between two fighting warriors.

How about we combine the ideas and make a single fight between two characters. If anyone agrees, how about:

Create a fught scene between two fantasy-based warriors of your own design.

no, we said its NOT allowed to be animated (maybe). i hope not, a flash battlw would be so cooul (but it woulld take 6-8 hours to make i reckon.. :|


and i did the voices lol, even the wind when he is snowboarding was done by me blowing into the microphone
