I don't think Wal-mart will successful in overtaking small shops according to news, there are 40 million small grocery shops OR department stores. As I think they have to come with some better idea, and competition is so high that Reliance department stores had already entered the market with more than 28000 Retail shops. So Wal-mart GO BACK.
