he's either the worlds biggest troll or just retarded. ok both

convoluted background info: sarah palin has list of "targets" on a map which were key districts to take back during 2010 election. the congresswoman who was shot over the weekend is on that list. Palin took the list off her site the day of the shooting not wanting to take blame for the shooting. too late, the media jumped all over that list. she sends email to Beck lamenting the incident and violence in general; beck emails her back:

“Sarah, as you know, peace is always the answer,” said Mr. Beck, reading from an e-mail he sent her. “I know you are feeling the same heat, if not much more on this. I want you to know you have my support. But please look into protection for your family. An attempt on you could bring the republic down.”

the only thing standing between oblivion and america is a bullet with Palin's name on it?

No no no, the only thing standing between oblivion and the republic is Palin, dude.

Not like she's an incompetent talking head, or anything. Glenn Beck has to be getting paid to say this shit.

Considering how crazed her supporters are, I'm sad to say he might not be all wrong.

Palin and Beck hurt my head big time. how are these people still around is beyond me

Conservatives are a bunch of whiney ******s, always wanting to be the victim.

No, Palin, things may seem tough right now but you need to buy security and stay the course. Who else can we look up to right now if we can't count on the reality show having, hundred thousand dollar speech giving, governorship quitting public figure?

Pompey was beheaded by Caesar so expect a big sword.

Well, at least Beck will suffer an appropriately insane death.

In Utica, Cato did not participate in the battle and, unwilling to live in a world led by Caesar and refusing even implicitly to grant Caesar the power to pardon him, he committed suicide in April 46 BC. According to Plutarch, Cato attempted to kill himself by stabbing himself with his own sword, but failed to do so due to an injured hand. Plutarch wrote:

Cato did not immediately die of the wound; but struggling, fell off the bed, and throwing down a little mathematical table that stood by, made such a noise that the servants, hearing it, cried out. And immediately his son and all his friends came into the chamber, where, seeing him lie weltering in his own blood, great part of his bowels out of his body, but himself still alive and able to look at them, they all stood in horror. The physician went to him, and would have put in his bowels, which were not pierced, and sewed up the wound; but Cato, recovering himself, and understanding the intention, thrust away the physician, plucked out his own bowels, and tearing open the wound, immediately expired.

Aw man I'd pay to see that happen with Beck.

How about Clodius? One incident after his death seems very reminiscent of the current political situation in the US.

In 53 BC, when Milo was a candidate for the consulship, and Clodius for the praetorship, the rivals collected armed bands and clashed in the streets of Rome. Some sources state that on December 6, 53 BC, by chance Clodius and Milo (each accompanied by an armed escort) passed each other on the Appian Way near Bovillae. A fight erupted between members of the two groups, and Clodius died in the ensuing mêlée. Suetonius, however, contradicts this story, saying simply that Clodius was assassinated. His enraged clients built his funeral pyre in the Senate House, which ignited the building and ultimately burned it down. The Senate then voted that Julius Caesar (still in Gaul) be removed from power in favor of Pompey, but the Tribunes were able to block this decree.

Degenerate's such as this are going to get a lot of shit in the coming weeks.

Let's hope that it at least ends their careers.

If a Muslim or man of color were spouting off the same bullshit, they'd be in jail by now. That's where hate mongers such as these two belong.

I can't believe people are actually defending the use of violent rhetoric. As if it somehow has a place in political discourse to begin with.

I may not watch the most new but I have never hear a U.S. politician call for violence and assassination. Using aggressive terminology is as old as politics itself. They call it a campaign for a reason.

Is it intelligent? No. Do I support politicians that regularly use it? No. Do I think we would be better off without it? Yes. Does that change the fact that violent rhetoric is part of politics? No.

get used to it.

Thats the spirit! **** progress, just get used to the way things are now! Don't hold people to higher standards than we did in ancient Rome!

And boy was Caesar pissed. ****ing Ptolemey.

Get used to it? Really? Why on Earth do you want to get used to things like this:

http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/whack-wikileaks_520462.html

Hell pretty much everything here

http://www.peopleokwithmurderingassange.com/

And that's just what people have been saying about Assange and Wikileaks. Nevermind what conservative talk radio and tea party politicians have been saying about Democrats and Obama. Never mind what 9/11 Truthers have been saying or have said about Bush and Cheney.

Let's just get used to talking about murdering people in politics like it's normal.

What the hell man?

I've personally not witnessed this kind of thing until Obama came along, and had the nerve to be half-black.

Conservatives, get used to it.

When Bush was in office, it was 'impeach him'. But with Obama, it's 'lynch him'. Seriously, are you OK with this?

no pope ratzinger is palpatine

-and standing and talking all the time.

Seriously, that's all Mace Windu did, except for two scenes where he kills Boba Fett Sr, Jango or whatever, and gets killed by Palpatine.

Thats more than most of the other council got to do, they were all backstabbed by their own men
