the 9600 pro is cheaper, tho. and i'm not happy about the 256 MB RAM either, but it's a budget upgrade.

Yea that ram is going to be the bottleneck in your system, I suggest not buying anything until around Sept. 20th, collect as much money as possible and then sort out your hardware purchases.

the 9500 pro IS faster than the 9600 pro, but its about $50-$70 more. I'm gettin the 9600 pro soon.

You could easily boost that ram, today 256 is really low now, average is 512

Idk where you got that from Washuu, 256 is still the normal, and it's perfectly fine. The reason he needs more is because of the rig he's going to be running, not because 256 is low.
