Yes, because special op units use unproven, under-tested prototype weapons.
 
I can't help it, I'm using prototype weapons that dont shoot straight.
 
They were thinking about AUG-like designs in the late 60s. So the accuracy of that mission depends entirely on when it takes place.

But the idea that MACV SOG used a pre-pre-production version of the first sanctioned bullpup--before any other bullpup had ever gotten past testing--in real operations either speaks of their immense balls or immense stupidity. I mean, this was the time before the M16A2. The standard issue A1 jammed like crazy.
 
Viperidae and Krynn both explain pretty well for why it's illogical for SOG to be using the Steyr Aug over almost a decade before it entered service.

I found it hilarious how short the segments like the underwater segment and the spyplane segments were given how much Activision had hyped them.

Hm, they made the 3rd Alien Breed game a third person shooter? Definitely checking that out.
 
Is it just me, or does NFS Hot Pursuit look kinda like booty in those screenshots Stemot? Does it look better in motion?

It's not meant as a compliment, I can tell you that much.

In my opinion NFS HP looks great, I especially like the wet asphalt effects when it's raining.
 
The game isn't perfect...there is no AA on PCs, there are only 2 good songs on the soundtrack, with no ability to add your own, and there seems to be a problem with AI cars being spawned directly in front of you at the worst times. Hopefully at least some of these will be addressed in a future patch.

But it is still a better game overall than MW2 or Black Ops, IMO...the game just feels more refined.
