Stemot, those Mortal Kombat screenshots look nice. I'm not a fan of that game myself, but it looks good.

I'm still playing the $hit out of Borderlands 2. This Hyperion Hawk picked up three personal Surveyors and flew his private flotilla after me.

Half-man, half-spider... I think this is an inside joke with Gearbox:

This is probably my favorite map of all in Borderlands 2. You know that island way off to the left of this screenshot? I was screwing with some Crystalisks back where Blue is from a distance and they launched one of their crystal bombs at me. I saw this little black dot rising, and it took like fifteen seconds for it to get to the island, but damn if it didn't land right on me. You can bubble jump to the top of this mesa.

You have to enable dev build by opting in here.

It's a little bit crashy but usually works fine. Might have to downgrade your details a bit to keep up performance, there's a lot more stuff around than in Stratis.

Yeah, I know (thx anyway!). I didn't notice any significant performance drop, though sometimes there was some lag when zooming in/out when I was flying over the island. My goodness, this is huge!

Loaded that up yesterday myself. Looking very nice so far, excited to see what it'll be like when it's more polished. I haven't pledged for any ships aside from the Aurora, but I hope that the other pledge ships are not super tedious to get via in-game methods.

That's the only ship I have to, but was thinking of getting another, the 350i or summat but it's expensive for something you can obtain through in game credits. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it ran for a pre-alpha build as well.

Yeah I was pretty impressed too. I have a i5 2500k and a 670 GTX, and I managed high 30s on very high settings at 1920x1080. Of course, it was a very basic scene to render, but still pretty promising.

I agree, I was pretty close to buying a 350i as well. The freelancer and constellation are gorgeous ships too, I just hope it doesnt take like 100 hours to grind enough to upgrade your ship.

Took me 15 runs in the same dungeon, about 18 hrs including time waiting, to get this ****ing full outfit. I just wanted the shirt from the start, but it took all that time to get it as the final piece. The rest are just a bonus.

What platform are you playing Alice on? It's a spectacular game, but I found the controls a little too wonky on the PC. I only vaguely remember that part.

I had to start a new game after this battle. I was out numbered almost 5:1, but loosed four units of wardogs on them, and ended up routing all three attacking armies. One army didn't even make it into melee with my infantry before breaking because the dogs decimated them (you can see some of their dead in the background on the right side of the first pic). I came out loosing zero units, and after one turn of retraining was back to full strength again. Game is way to ****ing easy on the default difficulties. Cranked it up to the hardest campaign difficulty and hardest battle difficulty and now there's a challenging fight every now and then.

You're just jealous that I was playing a twenty minute demo of a game with a generic anime artstyle because you can't afford a real PC powerful enough to run games that track four emotional axes at once.

New Borderlands 2 DLC is out: T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest. If you're into rockin' raid bosses, this may not be for you (and if you're playing OP levels, you may find the big fights "underwhelming"), but for $3, it was a worthy purchase to me. A couple funny easter eggs, big mobs of enemies, T.K. Baha, and you have classic Borderlands material. No new equipment (a new head though), but the game seems to drop a lot of legendary weapons.
