How much do you make before taxes? I ask because I am about to take a job for the summer of roughly 2500/month. Some of my classmates are making close to 4000/month on summer jobs. Does anyone on this forum top 6 figures? I would be impressed.

Not a clue, the amount I work is quite random. I'm doing more than usual ATM though. Unfortunatly, I don't even get minimum wage :(. I'll just vote the second one.

If you live in Canada or have Canadian citizenship you should come out West. If you just want any job you can easily land something paying 10-12 an hour within a week.

I interviewed for a job that would pay me about $12,960 from May to end of August (18 business weeks).

I'm confident I got it, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm 18 so I'd be pretty happy with that

If I worked all year at that (who knows where it will lead) I'd be making $37,440 annualy :D

Well, I presumable make around 2000$ a year in birthday, christmas, easter, and halloween gifts. maybe more.

I am not working steady yet, but once school is over I'll be making about $2800 a month, and when I get my next raise it'll be like $3600.

I work 6 hours a week. So the second one.

I make a few hundred a month cause I work a couple hours a week at a LAN center, but still definitely first category

My work is extremely sporadic, but I make 45 bucks an hour, so it's pretty nice :E

Something to do with manuals, for your (hot) mom, right?

Im in a college that is a 60 hr/ week commitment. Ill be damned if I work a single hour at a job during this.

I make about 600 at the least every week. Who knew crack/cocaine was so popular with the kids?

i make 45,000, which is good seeing as im right out of school

Just over $20,000...something like 20,200. Not 100% sure though.

It's difficult to say, the nature of my work means I write my own paycheques. But in US currency, this year I should earn something in the region of $75,000-$80,000.

I work for Recruiters which are based in USA CT, they happily pay me 8$ to 10$ an hour so approx 1600$ a month.

Standard - bout five thousand pounds sterling a year
With over time - ended up just over six thousand pounds for the last financial year, ended last pay last week

I get paid by the hour, $7.50. (I'm a high school student, graduating in 2 months)

I want to know who thinks they make over 100k.

I couldn't be arsed figuring it out. $16 an hour, $20 with overtime.

Part time transitional as I look for something better that isn't grunt work.

I make $60k /year with a 10% bonus. I'll probably be getting a raise to $70k/year in a few months. BTW, I've got 0 college and I'm 24. I'll be able to make $100k by the time I'm 31.

I get about $985 - $1550 in grants and student loan every month (except over the summer). I don't work yet, I'm a uni student :)

Personally, none, but my dad is the best logistical engineer in Australia, on over 130k a year w/o taxes.

130k isn't huge for an engineer. I checked the stats and the average engineer with 10 years experience makes aroundd 125k where I am.
