Well, I'm drinking some cheap whiskey at the moment. But rum and vodka is good. Can't stand most beers. What do you drink, halflife2.net?

What do you mean by non-apple cider? Cherry cider? Orange cider?

Cider - weird locals or Old Rosie when they are available, but Strongbow is fine. See also: Kopparberg
IPAs and similar things sometimes, and happy with beer when it's available.

Cheap wine.

Any/all spirits. Whiskey especially.

I always wish I can contribute to these conversations.

**** a single liquor, gimme a Long Island Iced Tea!

If it's a casual "Not gonna get ****ed up" night....*Every night?* Keystone Ice...mmm cheap as shit beer.

Quantity over Quantity for me!

A good mid-range beer, rum and coke, or some triple sec with some sort of orangey beverage. i'm not much of a fan of vodka, granted I haven't tried many different drinks.

Beer. A bit above cheap, and I'm fine. Wine, sometimes, but not really, makes me sleepy. Vodka. VODKA. Whisky. Rum. Port? Gin.

I used to like wine... but it's so syrupy. Even the high end stuff. Gives me a headache too.

I sometimes do this thing where I order a bottle of kopparberg pear cider and a shot of vodka, and drink the vodka then slug down the cider to get rid of the taste it's pretty bad

Home-brewed stuff... don't tell the cops.

Canadian Club 40% whiskey...

I like it because no one likes it, EVERYONE hates it, so no one bugs me for drinks or steals them.

Plus it's always classy to get drunk on CC for some reason, it's the 'classy' alcohol.

Haven't had nearly enough sampling for me to give a definite answer.

Red wine's good for meals (fuck white), whiskey and rum (prefer rum) for getting wasted, straight vodka makes me sick, beer makes me bloated, grappa for when I want to feel manly.

I've been meaning for ages to try:

Taboo is locally made; we're one of the few provinces where it's legal.

Problem is, I'm poor.

*absinthe*

I got some absinthe a few years ago from the Czech Republic... the stuff was really bad. I thought maybe it was just the brand I got. Well, a while later, a friend brought over some absinthe from France... yup, it was just as bad. Basically it tasted a bit like black licorice, but really bitter with a really weird after taste.

Anyway, favorite liquor: Whiskey (JD preferred)

favorite beer: Steel Reserve

As far as I've been told, most heavily commercialised brands of it are terrible. You basically pay for the level of quality. Or maybe you just don't like it? I'm hoping when I try it that I will.

At least mid quality beers. Not a fan of wine, whiskey or most vodkas, but rum is nice.

I dont know if the ones I tried were well known brands or not, but I wasn't the only one who didn't like it... the bottle I got, I let my friends try it... they didn't like it either. I guess the best way to describe it is like black licorice, mixed with cough syrup and rubbing alcohol. But it is high in proof, so it got the job done

I don't have a preferred alcohol. Most of them I can't stand because they either taste terrible to me or give me raging headaches instantly.

I have had some AbtshoF Absinth. Came in this little vial thing with a stopper. I rather like the black licorice taste of it. Wish I could have had some more. Only had a little bit.

Pear, summer fruits, strawberry etc.

Kopparberg and a couple of other less popular brands make cider from a fair variety of fruits in addition to apple.

Whisky and beer. And some Jäger Redbull. Nectar of gods.

Bottles: Corona and recently Leff
Pints: Carlsberg
Something sweet: Vodka & Coke or Screwdriver

Scotch Whiskey.

At the matter of the fact, I'm under their influence right now.

Whiskey (Johnnie, Jack, some Irish) and wine, I love the Australian Jacob's Creek wines.

As we were just talking about in chat there's a drink I invented (though maybe others have too) which is rather sweet.

Coke, Bailey's, Ice-Cream. Bailey's coke-float. For even more awesome use an alcoholic ice-cream such as rum & raisin.

If it's a beer drinking night then I prefer stella...but if it was anything last night than it's 6 drafts of stella with a glass of 12 year old Macallan on the rocks.

Right now I'm at a Marriott in Rhode Island for a wedding and last night me and my cousin hit the hotel bar. We started talking to some self-proclaimed millionaire and the guy was a riot. He bought our drinks all night and bought me that glass of Macallan, which was awesome.

Urg! Ice destroys good whisky.
