Will there be a retail version or will dial-uppers get shit on again by steam?

My excitement level has dropped a bit after hearing a majority of negative feedback but I expect it to run well on my rig, Quad 9550 + GTA 280. Not sure whether to make an impulse buy this weekend or not. In the meantime I have Dead Space to finish, which I am really enjoying.

How long is this game compared to SOC?

It really sucks getting dousched with a buggy release and then having to download patches that are several 100mb big when you are stuck on dial up.

I would think by now they realize the whole Vista exclusive gimmick didn't and won't work. I could see them doing it if they wanted to have a coupled release with Vista but they have missed that mark by a long shot. Unless more big name titles become Vista exclusive the big migration isn't...

Well I was watching the movie Brick and I thought to myself if they were to make a Cowboy Bebop movie I think Joseph Gordon Levitt should play Spike. I'd rather they didn't do this but that was who I thought should of played Spike. Oh well.

These over the top action movies need to stop because they are extremely boooooring. There is no suspense at all because between the bullet time, explosions, and hard rock(commercial crap) music there is no time for suspense to build.

One setback I have is how at the end they say "Well, even though it's completely obvious what happened we're going to spell it out for you." which a lot of movies do and it's redundant.
