Do you mean the one that jumps on the car in Riding Shotgun? Or the one that jumps up the dumbster in Freeman Pontifex? Or those in the mines in This Vortal Coil?

Yeah, the fast zombies worked better in Ep. 2 than most other places, simply due to excellently scripted events. Also, a random fast zombie spawn occurs
halfway between autogun and first cache
So loveable!

Deus Ex, totally 10/10. It's vying for my #1 spot. Another play-through someday will probably put it there.

HL2 Ep2. Playing it again and I've just reached the part where you meet the fast zombies. It's been a while since I last played it so I forgot what happens when you come across them, thus almost having a heart attack! I seriously jumped about two feet in the air!
For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about:
I'm talking about the bit where the undead fast zombie leaps up at you when you're about 5cm away.

I almost peed my pants at that part on my first playthrough.

Wow, I haven't played Soul Reaver in a long time. Great game.

Call of Duty: World at War (Multiplayer) - 8.7/10

Yes it does feel quite like a mod of COD4, which really needs a new engine, not the Quake 3 engine. I actually found the multiplayer quite enjoyable, save for the dominance of the tanks and the really large maps which both contribute to the slight Battlefield esque feel, rather than infantry driven FPS that COD is.

On the good side, I like having to upgrade some of the guns like Mauser Karabiner 98 rifle, STG44, and customizing my kits in the WWII frame of mind.

Pretty sure it isn't the Q3 engine anymore, hasn't been so since COD2.

Doom RPG on my cell - 8.5/10
Finally beat it after 3 years of random short 5/10 minute coffee break sessions.
Enjoyable, decent amount of content for a cellphone game.

Arcanum - 8/10

Feels like Fallout in a steampunk universe, very awesome. Also very old and needs a resolution hack.

savage 2 - 8/10

pretty ****ing fun, especially now that its FREE.

Hitman: Blood Money - 9/10

Finally completed it, best Hitman game to date. Excellent variety of missions with plenty of ways of approaching them, disguises work fully and the enemy AI reacts intelligently to everything that you do. Provides plenty of memorable assassinations, for instance the most memorable was on the casino level, the final target who was sat in a lounge area with guards all around with only one way in, but it was virtually impossible to get weapons into the area without blowing your cover, so I rigged a suitcase I found with a bomb and threw it over the wall where he was sat, lets say I was very chuffed.

Newspaper headlines are a nice edition, so you can read about how well you pulled off the last mission, as well as the weapon customization. The storyline, however linear, was actually very enjoyable and I loved the twist at the end;

for once the game gave you two silverballers and asked you to massacre everyone instead of ruining your rating on normal missions, loved the slow motion effects and the great operatic music in the background while you are busy gunning everyone down

A point knocked because I felt it was too easy in some parts, maybe taking off the fact that you can just bribe police chiefs or get a new identity when you notoriety increases, so it follows you throughout the entire game, so if you a reckless in earlier missions then you have to pay for it later on, and missions become harder.

Bring on the next one :D

Indeed the final level was sweet. Lol @ the suitcase bomb throw - subtle.

Sid Meier's Pirates! - 10/10

I'm the biggest, baddest Swashbuckler this side of Tortuga.

GRID - 8/10

Lacking some cars for sure, but the style, graphics, feel and sound make up for it. A truly realistic experience.

Dead Space - 9/10

Intro alone is worth an oscar or something surely???

Beyond Good and Evil - 9/10

Brilliant, brilliant game, loved it. However, its an awful console port.

Fallout 3 I literally knew and had seen nothing of this game until today, My friend got it for Christmas and I was hanging out at his house while he was playing. In that time we dueled a hobo with a flamethrower, died several times to an army of giant mutant crabs, lured that army of crabs into a base of soldiers, died to those mutant game crabs afterwards, gained a pet mutant (the coolest looking thing I've ever seen), died to those crabs again, and lured them into fighting an army of random people with miniguns.

Awesome.

Sid Meier's Pirates! - 10/10

I'm the biggest, baddest Swashbuckler this side of Tortuga.

Awesome, awesome game for the first eight or so hours of gameplay, then you realize you're doing the exact same things over and over.

Dead Space - 9/10

Intro alone is worth an oscar or something surely???
The fly in to the Ishimura alone and some of the scenes near or on the outside of the ship are some of the most graphically amazing scenes ever.

Gears of War 2 (Multiplayer) - 9/10

Horde is ****ing amazing with friends.

Far Cry 2 - 7/10...
Finally got around to playing it on my friend's 360.
Didn't do a whole lot cause I couldn't stand using the controller to aim but it was fun torching everything.

I might give it another whirl when I hook up & upgrade my PC.

Left 4 Dead - 9/10

I only played co-op with my brother, but it was really fun, I like how there are different stores you can play, good shit. I've yet to play online as my subscription to XBL wore off a week ago. I played it online when the demo was around, that was fun.

Sid Meier's Pirates! - 10/10

I'm the biggest, baddest Swashbuckler this side of Tortuga.

The original or the remake? Not that they differ that much though. Love 'em both. I might get the remake again. I am in the mood for a pirate game as well.

^ Play Tropico 2. Difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it's a really cool pirate game.

Call of Duty 5 9/10

Brilliant game, but some of the levels are a bit short. Its so much fun to bayonet people.

SAINTS ROW 2 - 2/10

Absolutely appalling game. I have not played the 360 version, but the PC version runs worse than GTA 4 with no where near as much detail in the world or graphics as GTA 4 has.
Ridiculous car physics make it impossible to drive, and the speed of movement is like a benny hill clip.

Don't bother with this shite, if you have a decent PC, get GTA 4 instead, somehow, someone has done a worse job of porting than Rockstar, and it looks like a ps2 game.

The 2 is because I managed to create a scarily perfect re-creation of myself as the main character.:-

SAINTS ROW 2 - 1/10
If you thought GTA4 was a bad port you've seen nothing yet. Saints Row 2 graphics are worse than the 360 version, the frame rate is capped at 30FPS which is irrelevant as you won't even get 30FPS. The 2 settings Dynamic Lighting and Ambient Occlusion makes the game pretty much unplayable as they take such a hit on the FPS and without them the game looks worse than GTA:SA.
There are some really dumb things in this game like being able the shoot though windscreens yet it does absolutely nothing to the driver or the passenger. The cars drive worse than NFS:Undercover. I gave it one less than stemot due to not being able to recreate myself.

Saints Row owns the shit out of GTA. Car's are nice and arcady, they don't feel like you're driving on ice,
the driving actually allows for high speed chases, and doesn't make going faster then 40 mean you will
take half a mile of sliding to stop. The controls are nice and responsive, they favor gameplay instead of
realism, as they should, in GTA 4 it feels like you input a command and then wait until the character
decides he should move, and even then he moves the way a real character would move, by making a half
circle when you turn right for example because of inertia, Euphoria is fun in crashes but in gameplay
it just feels like there is a lag and disconnectedness between your controls and the actions
on screen. SR2 animations may not look that good, but they feel nice and direct.

The story is better, where's as rock star sees it necessary to overexpose the shitty (unfunny) caricatures
of characters that roam their games, which in turns means listening to a lot of shit that is supposed to
make them looks funny, stupid, or whatever, but comes of as unoriginal filler from writers
not apt enough to actually make dialog worth listening or a create enough story to fill the
cut scenes. The courtroom scene at the beginning of SR2 overshadows anything rockstar
has done since VC.

The character customization is one of the best I have seen, there are so many options and a good
deal of them really do give the character something unique. Unlike the shitty customizations in games like
mass effect and fallout 3 for example, where most options will just make you look like a freak, and only a
few really contribute to a distinct look.

And most important thing, the game understands fun, within the ****ing first few minutes you're already
shooting shit. When I came on land the first thing I did is ****ing shit up, I don't know why but this game
really put's you in that mental state, it's like playing the 2d GTA games again. There are no excessively long
tutorial mission, it's you, a car and population waiting to be massacred.

I won't grade it, because I have not played it enough to know if it stay's fun or go's down the drain
and/or becomes repetitive and shite like FC2 for example. But **** it was such a pleasant surprise.

Courtroom scene

I found Saints Row more FUN than any of the GTA games, just because there was more to do and personalise.

I liked changing the look of the cars in my garage. I liked being able to rob shops. I liked the extremety of it.

GTA for the story, Saints Row for the FUN.

Havent played Saints Row 2 yet, so cant compare it to GTA 4 though.

Oh I forgot to mention your char can have the snipers voice. **** yeah.
